Anyone have a DD201-WB with a Flow neck? If so how does it look at address and how much toe hang are you getting from it?

I don’t have a flow neck, though I do have a long neck. Kari is really good about getting you whatever toe hang you want with the neck you want. I’d just shoot him an email letting him know what you want and he’ll tell you if it is possible.

Wouldn't be anything crazy. I like the look of the flow neck based on the offset and toe hang would be similar to a plumber necks or maybe a touch more.

Fully possible I think but want to get a fitting done to see if that would be a setup good for me. Kinda looking and planning a putter possibly.

The DD201 WB how big is it front to back? I like a little thicker blade it seems but not like Scotty Squareback big.

Almost exactly 1 1/4”.

Huh that's not as big as I thought. Kinda wish it was a bit thicker top line and not just extended bumpers. But I guess you could get them softened to make them look smaller.

Yeah I'm sure he can, looks like he has on a few on his Instagram page, I'm sure if I was to order I would go back and forth with some lengthy emails to get what I want, wouldn't be complex just want I want lol.

I do like the look of his Sensor but I have too many Anser 2 shapes already, not many nice Anser shapes out there for lefties.

Yup, I had everything softened on my wb along with a rolled top line. Definitely not as wide as a Scotty Squareback.

Good to know, not sure if I'd soften the top line much. Kari seems to like square lines a lot, I do like a thicker topline and if I soften then it will make it look smaller.

I just received my first putter from Kari. What an awesome piece of craftsmanship. He was awesome to work with and it came out exactly how I wanted it and faster than I expected. I got a DD201 with my kids initials and birthdays. I can’t recommend him enough to anyone interested. Even the headcover is well made with a magnetic closure.

Matt, to further answer your concern...when building your putter, he will let you know what measurements can be increased or decreased regarding the top line, flange or bumpers. So if you want slightly wider bumpers, he can most likely do that for you.

Good to know I know some guys get annoyed when people ask for specifics on their putters. Kari seems to embrace it obviously within reason if it can be done or not.

SO I got my putter out and played this weekend. First round with my Lajosi. OH MY GOD the V-Grooves are amazingly soft. Kari puts them somewhere between the Deep milling and the soft milling but I think it is softer than both.

The V grooves do sound interesting, and pretty deep too. Does it do anything to get the ball rolling better or just a feel thing?

I have not seen my putting on video but I believe the V groove helps put a forward roll on the ball.

Nice, I don't even know what I like/want right now in a putter face, in my basement softer is nice due to acoustics, on the course I was using a firm face and really liked it out there. Probably need to try a soft face on the course to know.

It all comes down to personal opinion. Whichever gives you the best speed control is what I'd recommend.

Yeah I'd probably have to play more flat face/light mill due to most courses being on the slower side where I'm at. But since I play heavier a softer mill could be beneficial as well.
