The regular version is a tiny bit wider. I also liked the face milling depth on that one better. It was the copper insert one I recently posted on this thread. If I could have any Lajosi putter, it would be that exact model with different etchings. Too bad I stupidly sold that one. Haha

Jon, you sound like your trying to talk yourself into getting another one, haha.  

 

One of the 4 Lajosi's I ordered has been a real winner.  I've managed to stop switching out putters religiously and instead have used just 1 putter for the past 2 seasons.  It's led to some of the best putting of my life and most importantly, scratched the itch for always wanting to try something different.

Another Lajosi won’t be in my future. Lajosi’s are nice, but they don’t really compare to my Mills pieces. I like the pieces I have now and am set.
 

The reason you’re putting great with your Lajosi is probably because you’re good at golf and play more than once a week. I am not good at golf and I play once a week at the most. No putter will make better. I’ve learned that about myself over the past 2 seasons.

haha.  That was a sad read Jon.  Stay positive about your game.

 

I play twice a week.  I think my green reading has improved.  That along with getting the ball on it's target line has helped me make a lot more putts.  That being said, I still 3 putt from 3' on occasion but know that will happen and move on mentally.

 

Glad your TP Mills putters are still in the bag.  He makes solid putters.

I just got a Lajosi putter with a insert and its awesome, but on the insert it almost looks like it has black film/marks on the bottom of the insert. I am assuming its from pressing the insert or sealing the insert in, but I am not sure. Does anyone have experience with this? Is there a way to remove it?

Copper insert? If so... then ketchup = was a frequently-suggested product for gentle cleaning for Scotty Teryllium inserts on this forum (so not-dissimilar to @ohiogolfer58's putter insert?)

Definitely glad I posted something never would have thought to use ketchup. It has taken a few applications and I will probably keep doing it for a bit, but its definitely working. Absolutely fantastic putter!

It's most likely just patina or oxidization after something or someone touched that spot, nothing to really worry about but I get liking looks.

 

If you can get some Flitz metal polish it will do it fast and shine it up nice.

It definitely is but I'm sure everyone has ketchup in their house, Flitz not so much. Usually why it gets suggested first.

That is understandable, but ketchup almost did nothing compared to the Filtz. Maybe I was using super cheap ketchup, but dang, the Filtz really brings the shine back.

Just be careful using it on the top of the putter, it will make it extra shiny. I made that mistake once and lots of time spent with steel wool to dull it back down.

Yeah I went with a black midsize gripmaster. It was just under 3 months from order to my door.

I requested it be installed like that. I don’t like the look of the extension and much prefer it installed like that and think it works really well.

Those were nice too, his covers were lacking for a bit but those and the Kangaroo are really nice.
