Ahhh I spoke too soon haha. I literally posted my reply before this popped up/before I refreshed the page. Incredible, man. Really creative cavity design, and I like the unique polished finish that not many people go for these days.

Only one of the pics shows but it’s a copper finish…kinda hard to tell…but super excited to see it in person.

Heard that deep milling is pretty soft but looks nice. Also hard to copy certain face milling.

 

But looks nice, ton of tope hang, hopefully rolls well.

The milling while not 100% like I was expecting (looks wise)...is 100% the way I wanted it to feel.  As far as the toe hang, I like my putters that way...putting is my #1 weapon in the bag and these type of putters just add to that.  So far the first 50 putts have been exactly what I wanted 😉

Awesome use of the stamping and incorporation of the Lajosi L! Even if my last name was a candidate for this, I'd never have the balls to do it. I know far too well that my chances of keeping it more than 3 months are slim to none. Great looking putter!

LOL....Thanks!  Its not the first putter I've had my last name on...but first with full name.  I knew going into it that this was the exact putter I wanted so went for it...plus it worked out with the L so just made sense to do it 🙂  

 

Already thinking of the next one to build...same as this one sorta...but copper insert, different finish, topline and maybe a little different in cavity.  Gotta sell something first LOL.

It's nice, clean and simple with a sh*t ton of toe hang with that FN23 neck on it. 

 

I'm just thinking if I reorder a Lajosi to keep with the Mid-Slant which is solid or the Flow Neck. The FN23 is nice but a lot of hang.

Did you thin the topline or have any hand softening done? Your putter's topline and proportions look ideal to me. I've seen some pics where the topline looks thicc compared to yours. Maybe an older iteration of the 201 design..?

The visual difference between a sharp vs rounded topline is pretty incredible. Same putter heads, but one topline appears much thinner to our eyes, mostly due to the rounding. There's always a chance that Kari adds/removes weight in the heads by varying the face and topline thickness, but I think most of the visual difference is just due to the crown/softening.

I always knew rounding/rolling that topline would give a slimmer appearance but I didn't realize it was THAT significant. Thanks for posting those pics. Those are both DD201s? Did you have the bumpers or shoulders softened on the one with the rolled topline?

Neither one of those are my putter, but I used the rounded top line pic as an example when I reached out to Kari. They’re both DD201s, and yes, the second one had some hand softening (per a previous poster on here).

Just got this guy in…wanted a welded long neck with low toe hang, no sight lines (rh and left eye dominant), as well as milling and groves…feels great and gets the ball rolling quickly…perfect
