Last month on a trip to Pinehurst I hit the cup on a fly from 160 on my second shot on a par 4. It popped out of the cup and actually ripped up the plastic piece they put in the top of the cup there. Maybe foreshadowing?

haha! One of my good friends is so overcome with jealousy that I don't think he is even happy for me. Sucks for him!

One other thing I forgot to mention. Last couple seasons I stopped using a ProV1 X balls and have been using a couple different brands. This year I decided to go back to the X. I rarely spun the ball backwards on the green, they would stop but not really spin. First few rounds this year with the Xs I'm getting more spin on the greens. This one spun back nicely!

congrats! I've been golfing since I was 6yrs old (stopped for a while in middle and high school, now 29yrs old) and have yet to get one, came close a few times. A friend and I have a running bet to pay the one who get's one first $175 (goes up $25 every year).

Appreciate it guys! Got a certificate from the hole in one registry emailed to me. Weird I think anyone can just register an ace and get a certificate with nothing but filling out the form.
