Are Ladies' driver heads pretty much the same as men's?

I find I am attracted to some Japanese women's golf club heads. Other than shaft and maybe grip, is there any difference between men's and women's club heads? Yes, there is more perrywinkle.

I've NO experience with JDM stuff but usually with drivers, we ladies get more loft. BUT, not always, so it would probably be a good idea to get the specs on something you're interested in.

Most times with irons though, it's the shaft/grip that makes the difference between genders. Only very rarely are women's iron heads a truly different design.

When you factor in swing speed, most ams would do well to take notice of lpga witb. Higher lorts and softer shafts in driver and GI irons works well for them, and most would have swing speeds similar to the majority of men. Obviously this doesn't apply to wrxers who need about 6-7 degrees on driver with a xxx shaft tipped 2 inches to stop the ball from ballooning, and blades with lofts weakened 2 degrees with X100 shafts hard stepped to get a penetrating flight, but for real world golfers most men would have much better results with an lpga bag than Tiger or Rorys bag.

No judgment. Heads don't know your gender, but they are generally lofted for swing speeds of a certain measure. Most ladies with faster swing speeds use mens club heads because of the more appropriate loft.

Thus, if the loft you want is the right one for you, periwinkle for you.

Heads are pretty much the same. Comes down to length, grip size and shaft flex.

To my mind there is not enough reason to make ladies clubs all that different, if at all. Too often they are relegated to their husbands cast offs. If you think about it you will see that women only suffer from a lack of length and strength, and even then, only at the limits where very few people, only the very best, can operate.

If the clubs work for you, go for it.

No; they have C8 swing weights with same head from shorter shaft.

Disagree. When you have your fitter assemble it, have them add hot melt to your desired swing weight.

Yeah, I know it's possible to adjust the head weight. I meant something that would work with only a shaft change.

Golfers also adjust, and are more likely to adjust when they want to play and are a bit stretched for funds.

Brand new in the wrapper R15 Black (12*) with ladies flex shaft for $120?

 

Worth the cash and then re-shaft the adapter with an X from the garage? Maybe loft down a little in testing?
