simple mistake. DHEA is a pretty common and natural supplement. Good on him to turn himself in when he didn't have to.

If this is me, before I take a singe dose, I'm double checking ANYTHING prescribed to me to make sure it's not on any PED list. It can't be that hard for these guys to find out. A simple phone call I'd imagine?

This seems like a case of guilty conscious maybe? Or maybe it is just is an honest mistake, mixed with a bit of laziness on Stalling's part.

Hats off for him calling it on himself. I think if it was me my personal physician would have a list of banned substances and double check on it. Also I would have made double sure by checking with someone on the PGA medical board.

He could have applied for a waiver due to the doctors recommendations, but he did not.

This is why I'd like to know what is banned and isn't. Xanax and adderall, are those allowable so long as you have a doctor saying it is needed?

The Tour needs a full time Physician that works at the Ponte Vedra office who does nothing but review meds proscribed to Tour Players. It would all be covered under HIPPA compliance for confidentiality and stop this silliness.

The Players would be advised of this new position and instruct their docs to forward a list of meds to this Doctor.

I just saw him interviewed on Golf Central. He has been having some health problems. Doctor recommended medication. Stallings took it. Subsequently found out it was on banned substance list. Turned himself in. Simple as that.
