Are Circle Ts Really Worth the Big $

I've tried the Cameron putters many times in the store but never really considered them right for me. I see the Circle T models selling for between $1000 - $9000 and more. Really??? Please enlighten me what makes a Circle T worth 10+ times a regular Scotty.

Collectors and demand. They are worth what someone is willing to pay. From a performance stand point, no putter is even close to being worth that much. Alot of them are just off the rack putters with Tour stamps on them.

Things are only worth what people will pay for them. People pay that much for Circle T's, therefore they are worth that much.

People will spend $$$$ on percieved value. In hope s that that value holds up over time. Because Cameron is a householld name there a good chance that will happen. They aren't made of anything special.... well maybe that all important component "just about everyone has one in they're bag" One thing is for certain if someone spends two grand on a putter and the value drops it will make for an expensive fire poker....

Hand stamp CT's have a more collectable value in my eyes (kinda like an artistic one off value), but retail style CT's may not have as much value, but a better chance it came out of one of their tour bags you see in the Monday/Tuesday course pics and could or would have been played on tour, so that may be what others want for gamer or their collection. All a matter of what someone wants and how bad, then value is established. To each is own.

Many people don't know this but CTs are made of an alien alloy and sprinkled with ground up unicorn horns.

In reality they are worth that much because people are willing to pay for them. They are tour issue. The product is mostly the same for the lower $ CTs. The higher the price the more likely it is a 1-off or rare.

They're cool, but unless you truly have the money to burn, it won't be worth it. I've been down the road before...bought an 009, loved it, played ok with it, then realized I putt just as well with my OTR newport, and then thought about all the other things I could get if I sold it. Sure enough, it was gone within a few weeks (recouped all my money at least).

I'd rather have a Jim Wells Ping Anser that has seen tour use to be honest or something from A high end putter maker for far less money.
