SM5 Grind Help

Not sure what grinds to go with so hoping to get some feedback. Looking at 54* bent to 55* and a 60*. I play 95% of my rounds in neutral to firm conditions and am more of a picker, only brush the ground/very small divot. The 54* is mostly used on full shots, and also on very tight mown areas around the green. The 60* will also be used on full shots but will be my bunker club and what I use on shots in longer rough around the green.

 

I'm thinking F or S for the 54*, but kind of torn on the 60*. What would everyone's recommendations be?

I'd go S in both. The 54 S will allow you to hit full shots, chips from tight lies, and open the face a bit. The 60 S is pretty much the do-it-all-for-you-dolly for all the slider's out there.

I really like the M grinds. I'm a sweeper to neutral digger and like to play full on straight shots and open the face slightly for chip shots. I even like the play flops with the 58*. I think the M grind is the most versatile.

Picker here and when I had the SM5s I went with a 54 m and 60 m. I had an s grind in a 54 but didn't like it as much as the m. I liked to open up the 54 and the s didn't perform in that area for me. I found the m grind to be the most versatile and had no trouble playing it out of the bunker as well.

I go 54s (@53) and 58L (@59). Really like my choice of the s in the 54 as like you it is used almost exclusively for full shots and square faced pitches.
