I would not argue with you on that, and that I have at times been a 'thorn in their side' in some respects, but this fact doesn't take into account two important issues. The first is that I have also written positive comments about goods and services, and two, I wouldn't have thought a large company like Titliest would be that bothered what any individual customer says in some respects, not to the tune of seeing fit to disassociate themselves like this anyway.

Well - if you're still willing to buy their product why would they waste time responding to silly questions like "what are you going to do about this" when it's hardly warranted. If you really want to speak loudly then stop buying their equipment! I'm all for holding big companies accountable but even by book this is ridiculous. If I'm losing a days pay over something non essential I'm communicating a day or two in advance to make sure things are still on track, I'm not relying on anybody else to make that communication for me.

I totally concur with this, and was my point to my Pro/Fitter, and yet recently they arranged a special fitting for me at no cost at Celtic Manor, which was superb by the way. That's a very strange way to disassociate yourself from someone. But in essence, I totally agree with you. But the helpful Celtic Manor experience contradicts this disassociation.

- So the demo kit was suppose to be there on Oct 5th.
- I assume that you had your fitting on Oct 6th, because why would a fitter schedule a fitting on the day a demo kit was to be received (not knowing time of delivery, set-up, etc...).
- The actual delivery date was Oct 7th.
- Your fitter didn't call you on Oct 5th saying that he had not received the demo kit and asked if you could push it back a couple days?

Missing a demo fitting should not impact your golf game or yourself financially. If you are able/willing to schedule a fitting the day after a new release is expected to be delivered, I have to assume you are doing fine in life financially. It appears in your email, you tried to stretch the truth a bit and make the situation worse than what it was. Then request, from a customer support member, what they are doing to address the situation. I do not believe you have the respect in Titleist's eye to make such a request. I would agree with them, it does come off as entitled. Titleist in-turn, followed by making the situation/relationship even worse (not good on them) by disassociating them.

You have come off as a demanding person in this topic. Titleist's response was poor. They should have said less (ignore your inquiry to a point). If you had an expectation that your email was going to have a resolve/impact, you may want to re-think it.

Well, I wish now that an intended entertaining post for a giggle only, would turn into a 'whodunnit' mystery or a 'blame game' issue, which was neither it's intent and I kind of wish now it hadn't been posted as its purpose was to simply make people laugh inside. My experience will not change my Golf shopping habits, and the original post is totally unrelated to this factor. It was light hearted insight that I just thought others on here would not take it so seriously. Oh well, none so strange as folk.
