Depends, seems like David does a lot of hand work on certain models, like his Softails can have several different looks.

+1 All Softtail's and Ming's have high toe.  Tradition does not..., and it's not Traditional just Tradition

Wanted to tap your thoughts.. I gave up my soft tail a while back as I found the profile a tad too slim for my liking.  Which model Mills do you recommend for a slightly wider blade profile?  Thanks in advance.

David can give you exact measurements. I know my Softtail is 1.3 inches. About as wide as he makes a lefty model.

Not sure how old your softtail was, but I believe most of the ones he makes these days are the wide version - GREAT putter.

There’s actually 2 of these out there.

I owned one years ago. Beautiful club with awesome fly milling and so much hand  shaping and grinding on the sole. 
He doesn’t make them like this anymore.

The 8802 Mills handmade is legit.  I have a left hand model and believe the story is that these came from the last of a few blanks made at a "Hoffman Forgery" found laying around in the 1990 or early 200's.   I sent mine back to be refinished but the reference is paraphrased from Putter Talk which in no more and what D. Mills told me at the time.  David did lots of handwork especially on bottom and hands stamping.
