I bought this recently from a member here.  My second mills after a softail a long while back.  3 birdies on her maiden round yesterday so no complaints.

I had to really zoom in on another pic, but it looks like this is what I got. I told David to use a light milling, but surprise me.

David told me in a text that the black TI-12 putter heads were legit, although that led to much discussion in another thread about how they were made.  Someone who appeared to be knowledgable about these said they were mass-produced heads for the Asian/far-east market that were never intended to hit the US market.

Thanks! I found this model on the TP Mills Korea website, however the paintfill and sole engravings are slightly different. I might have to take a flyer on it for the price haha

I've had 20+ handmades from David. Was just curious if anyone knew if these were legit but part of David's Korean line.

I also know David doesn't ONLY do handmades. He has production lines for the Korean market so was wondering if this was part of that. I wouldn't think TP Mills would be a popular brand to counterfeit..

Asked for opinions and just saying that its not real but buy whatever you like from Ali Express.  They have Camerons on there as well.

My understanding was it was an agreement to utilize the name 'T.P. Mills' with a Korean Distributor and that's it. 

 

My further understanding, through the grapevine, is David regrets the arrangement.

Thanks for digging these threads up! That’s more what I was after. Obviously David never touched these heads but there have been license agreements in the past for the Asian market.

That’s cool he can do that. I also meant single bend - bc I’m an idiot.  Seems like he may be able to do that with a longer flow neck perhaps?  I emailed him as well

I grabbed this link from the Franken Mini thread but these are similar to the Asian market mentioned above.  These are not hand stamped or even touched by David Mills.  They are more CNC copies of his design but licensed to produce from what I understood.
