Iron shafts: modus 120TX, PXI 7.0, c taper s+???

Looking for comparison comments if you have tried any of these iron shafts. I am looking for a shaft that is not counterbalanced and won't build to light, (like kbs tour). I tried the modus 120x and it flexed, but spun too much. Wondering if the tx would drop the spin. I hit the pxi 6.0 on a crappy indoor monitor and it felt nice but I doubt it would be playable for me in that flex, I have heard pxi is pretty spiny, so was thinking maybe the 7.0... then if I think back on the shafts I have played over the years, I probably played the best with c taper s+, so that is a consideration for me. The 120 TX should spin less than the 120 X.

PXi plays soft to flex. Exact opposite of regular PX. They don't make a PXi 7.0, or at least they don't sell it aftermarket so cross that one off. From what you mention you should be focusing on the regular PX anyway.

If you played best with C-Taper S+ then stay with them.

Regardless of what shaft you choose the swingweight should be managed. Common practice is to use tip weights to fine tune the swingweight value. High balance point shafts like KBS Tour need a little more tip weight than a low balance point shaft, but that's not really a problem per say.

I cannot speak to the 120s, but I had the PX 7.0 (not PXi) flighted and they were great but the feel was on the harsh side, I got re-fitted looking for something about the same low spin and flight, I reshafted my irons with C-Tapers 130X and they are great for my swing , the spin and ball flight is lower and very predictable, I even gained almost an entire club as well...good luck
