M1 Hybrids

I'm very interested in a new set of hybrids. I tried the XR hybrids but not for me. Currently gaming Adams Idea XTD super hybrids from a few years back but hoping the M1 Hybrids are as good or hopefully better than the Adams. I've seen little to nothing on here about the M1 Hybrids. BTW, I have the M1 driver with white tie and love it. Anyone have experience with the M1 Hybrids??? Feel,distance,forgiveness? Please advise.

I've hit these with the stock fujikura. Ridiculously easy to hit. & they feel fantastic. Possibly a smidge easier to hit than my x2hot hybrid. And those were raved.

I gave the M1 a try, also with the stock shaft. I have to say I wasn't really a fan. I found a really good deal online and with all the hype figured why not. The shape of the head and the sound of the club weren't bad, but they just didn't quite make the mark for me. The feel and sound go hand in hand and for me the M1 sounded thuddy and felt dead. My yardages with it reflected that feel as well. I ended up trading it back in and got the new Apex hybrid. I'm hitting that one just a touch further than the M1, and more consistent with my distances. In the end the Apex fits my game better, but I'm sure M1 will work for some guys out there too.

Well, I tried and I liked it.
But I didn't buy it since it was a bit too similar to my r15tp rescue.
For hybrid, I personally like my sldr s the best.
Very easy to hit and forgiving.
I find the shape of r15 and m1 hybrids are a bit harder to hit.
just my two cents.

I hit it indoors a few times at a big box. Honestly didn't like any part of it. 10-15 yds shorter than the xr pro and felt like a mis hit on a blade on every shot. Could have just been the day and not meshing with my swing but it's the impression stuck in my head at this point.

Have either of you [ or anyone else] compared the M1 hybrid to the Aeroburner hybrid? Trying to decide between the two. Currently gaming older Adams Idea XTD super hybrids but want something at least as good regarding distance,flight,forgiveness etc. FWIW I am completely happy with the M1 driver and have already ordered an M1 3-wood. Both with the TM White tie shaft whose bend profile fits me very well.

I currently have the M1 Hybrid, and have played the SLDR Hybrid and Aeroburner. I'd say the Aeroburner had the largest profile, and probably a bit more forgiving than the other 2. The M1 does have the movable weights to help with the severe draw bias that the SLDR and Aeroburner had. The M1 is much more compact looking than the Aeroburner, but the ball just goes forever off of the face. All 3 of these I have played with the same shaft (KBS C-Taper Lite X), and so far the M1 performs the best for me. The SLDR was great and it was hard to replace it, and the Aeroburner was just to big for my eye. (Although I played and loved the 3HL TP fairway AB). Hope this helps a little bit.

I hit the M1 Hybrid briefly at a demo day and to be honest, in retrospect, I'm pretty surprised by how good it was. I wasn't paying much attention to it because I was focused on trying the 816 DBD. It seemed very easy to elevate and pretty long and quite forgiving....I'm guessing you can't go wrong with it.

I've looked at the M1 hybrid and the only thing that concerned me was the black head with black face. Sort of difficult to have confidence in alignment? Looked like when looking down there was just a black hole behind the ball?

Ilike I said, the m1 hybrid and I had a bad experience but I have hit the aeroburner hybrid as well. I think you need to ask yourself what you want out of the club. Just my opinion but to me The m1 is going to be more of a precision club and more consistent distance wise. If you want your hybrid to give your a forgiving high shot that feels like a rocket go aeroburner. I liked the m1 driver and loved the fairway but couldn't get the feel of the hybrid. I was disappointed to be honest I love the look. I keeping trying but never find a way to pull the dhy.

I was to luck my way into a M1 hybrid. Granted it had a stock shaft in it and what I was comparing it to had my favorite hybrid shaft, but I was shocked.

One issue I have always had with almost EVERY hybrid save two was the ability to have a big hook creep into a shot out of nowhere. I have played the 21* hybrid now over two rounds and I must say I was shocked. It was absolutely great. I have the 21* and have it turned two clicks towards lower. I have no trouble hitting it high or low. Still working on hitting a cut or a draw with it, but I have not needed it yet. I got the hybrid sent at the same time I was sent the 3 wood and it was more of a "Sure, I'll try the hybrid too" type of addition. However it has turned out to be the best of the bunch so far, of course most of that is because I lucked out with the stock shaft.
