Jason, many times we put a new driver or putter in play and think we have found the Holy Grail … then, not so much! It’s like the first few dates with a gorgeous honey … Holy Grail fades into, “What was I thinking?” How do you and your peers reduce that factor? Is it simply spending more quality time with the club, as opposed to the typical amateur? Does this work with women?

2) I noticed you are a sponsor with Titlesit/FJ. Why did you decide to use Titleist gloves instead of FJ gloves, what is your favorite pair of FJ shoes, and will you be trying the new FJ freestyle shoes year?

Glad that you're happy with the Callaway equipment, IMO I think all the major brands are doing a wonderful job bringing out technology to help the average joe enjoy the game. Having said that, I'm curious as to the process you go through to pick the equipment in terms are you looking for a specific feel, yardage, spin, etc. Also, does your equipment change with your swing specifically when you were doing the S&T swing did you have any major changes?

I second this question. That's the one thing I always am curious about. How long does it take you when swapping out entire bags of gear, to acclimate. How long did it take this time by moving the to Apex Pro and XR16 driver.

Do you have a stable of say 20 clubs that go event to event so that you can mix up your set as needed?

 

And if so what conditions are a factor in making changes ? Weather, wind, or the course itself etc etc ie long par 3's, lots of draw holes, reachable par 5's, monster par 4's, etc etc?

 

FWIW, I personally do this with 16 clubs .. the two extras are a 64*W and a 7 wood

Do ball changes truly make as big of a difference as people claim? I would think pros could adapt fairly quickly since they are so consistent since they themselves are so consistent

I am really impressed by the way that you keep a smile on your face even when things are tough on the golf course. What have you done/do you do to keep a positive attitude in the midst of adversity? What do you think of after hitting a poor shot or having a difficult round?

We met at the Sony Open in Hawaii as I was a local caddy in your Pro Am group a few years back, my question is, when your swing coach is not around, do you go to a trusted fellow PGA pro to take a look at your swing?, just to give you a bit aof assistance when you think you are a bit off, thanks for being so nice to us at the Pro Am, take care and God bless, best of luck the rest of your career..

Jason, have always been a fan because we share a similar physique. :)

 

My question: I remember you as a Cobra staffer, then Nike, Taylor Made, Ping, now Callaway. Possibly some others I am overlooking. How long does it take to adjust to new equipment when you make a switch? Do you regret making any of those changes, looking back now in retrospect?

Hello Mr Gore,

I have watched you play combine on trackman, how are you doing with the new clubs and are you still kicking a** on combine? I watched you at TPC Wakefield never miss a shot from the back of the range. Does trackman help you dial it in? And how does playing combine help under pressure?
