Maybe the end for Romo? Dak looks good so far but the games mean something now going forward.

 

Not sure what the thinking is on having 5 or 6 potential starting rb in the line up. Wanted Ramsey for sure. Jack could have been had in the third imo.

There aren't 5-6 starting RB on the roster!

 

Morris/Zeke will start and be the primary backs.

 

Dunbar is a 3rd down back.

 

I'm not sure what's up with McFadden. Thought Dallas may trade him but with his hand situation, it's either cut him or try to get use out of him later in the season.

 

Darius Jackson has great speed but he didn't impress me a lot during the preseason. I'm not sure he will see much playing time.

Yeah he took a beating. And the last head hit where they finally called a penalty he was definitely wacked out kneeling on the ground and in the huddle you could see him grimacing. And of course the NFL comes out and says all protocols were followed and he did not look like he had any concussion symptoms. What a joke.

Ok Cowboy fans I have a question for you.

 

Why is Cole Beasley still a starting receiver for your team? A 5' 8" 180lb red haired white dude out of SMU. I see that his

stats over the past 3 out of 4 years are ok, but do you not think there is a bigger bodied WR out there that would do better?

What is his connection to Jerry Jones that keeps him as a solid starter? Texas roots?

 

There is no way he can be compared to small Julian Edelman. Now Julian is an exceptional under standard size NFL WR. Beasley is not fearful by any means as I have seen him just get crushed many times coming over the middle. He does seem fearless. He is just so small and light that many DB's just throw his a** around with ease!

 

 

I just think the Cowboys need two different WR's to join Bryant in the starting posse. Thoughts?

he's not reliable when it means something. butterfingers and absolutely hate seeing him return punts. him and Garrett have the ginger thing in common and have no souls. He gets open in quick passes but seems to fall all over the place. I still don't like Williams and he's a decent #3 WR on any other team. He's no #2 WR but unfortunately on this team that's all we have. I'd like to see more of Brice Butler and maybe even more of Whitehead at the WR position. Bonehead play by Williams yesterday that cost us a shot at the game. throwing the ball 45 times doesn't help. Keep feeding Zeke and Morris. they panic when they have long 2nd and 3rd down plays. ugh!

I agree they should have ran it more......my Skins were dumb to let Morris go as I feel he is solid. Damn you have a great O line so use their asses and pound the rock. I expect Zeke to be very good also.

 

I think is unfair the bunch of s*** Williams is getting by the Monday morning QB's. It is not his fault the Cowboys did not produce more

in their trips to the Redzone.

 

Oh well let's see what the Redskins look like tonight. Having that trash RGme finally off the roster should help. We have a slightly better receiver

group than the Cowboys, but we know it takes a lot more than that!

I hoped that it could still be good because of Steve Young, but he disappointed me. It seemed like the producers told him to get in two sentences after every play, even when he had nothing to say.

Berman is like that embarassing uncle everybody fears will show up for a family gathering at nice restaurant. Inevitably, he will call the waitress "darling" or "sweetheart", or simply grope her, he will discuss his controversial poltical views at the top of his lungs for everybody to hear and finish the evening off in style by relieving himself into a flower bed in front of the restaurant.

 

Still, it was a very good Monday for me, as a Steelers fan, with the 49ers being my second favourite team.

Really smart Steelers football to start off with, with some plays being simply ridiculously good, and a very promising showing by the 49ers in their new era. In situations like when the Rams lost their cool in the 4th quarter, I bet that a few of the 49ers would have gotten in on the fun and would have received offsetting penalties in the Harbaugh era. Good to see them being smarter than that now.
