And I can agree with that. In the playoffs if Matt lays an egg I'd agree that he may not deserve it. But right here, right now I don't see how anyone says Tom Brady deserves it more. You can argue record all you'd like by without Brady they still won 3 out of 4

You guys know I never said Brady as the MVP pick as some here have. Just want to clarify that as it there has

been lately talk regarding Brady and whether or not he should be even considered.

Up in the previous posts I said I am on the fence between

Rogers and Ezekiel. I would go Ryan next for sure.

I have heard the Rogers lost 4 in a row and 5 out of 6 argument. I have heard any good back

could run behind that Dallas O line argument too.

To those two statements I say fair points, but Ezekiel is really a cut above the rest (except one)in the league right

now. He and Bell from Pittsburgh rule, and the rest are not in that discussion.

Aaron has won 5 in a row and steaming into the playoffs. He has no great offensive weapons or running

game to speak of. 90% the QB from Cal doing it.

Ryan is the clear leader.

Cowboys are the surprise of the season - but as good as Elliot and Prescott have been, their MVP is probably the offensive line.

Brees won't get any votes because the Saints are mediocre, but if you're into the "most valuable to his team" argument, he's your guy. That's a 1-15, 2-14 type team without him.

 

BTW, Brady shouldn't even win the "11 or 12 game MVP" award. Project Le'Veon Bell's numbers to a full season and he'd break the yards from scrimmage record. Brady's full-season projected numbers are good, but not historic.

Le'Veon Bell deserves a mention indeed.

First, Brady should not be in the discussion. Not an MVP season, no matter how you look at it. He may be on the list, but only because he's Tom Brady and NE is 13-2.

I think Bell gets "points off", like Brady, for missing games. He also had a few sub-par performances (Miami, NE, Balt). Johnson was a HUGE part of the Cardinals offense every week - only one game with <100 yds from scrimmage.

He's the MVP, whether anybody wants to vote for him or not, LOL!

Between QB's, I think what Rodgers did was more impressive than Ryan. Falcons had an outstanding run game. GB, as everyone here knows, had to plug their #4 or 5 WR in at RB. Their O-line was really porous at the beginning of the season (still giving up too many sacks). GB has been playing with their backs against the wall the past 4 or 5 weeks. And, if you want to consider record, there's only a game separating GB and ATL... what if they both finish at 10-6?

Now, if a vote for Ryan means fewer State Farm commercials with horrible acting, I may change my mind.

Between sitting starters and teams eliminated from the playoffs, I really don't see a "lock". My favorite is Seattle (-8.5) v SF, but you know that they play like the Seasparrows on the road.

I like the Packers -3.5.

I'm pretty confident that Rex Ryan's former team will win in NY.

I hope you're wrong about Cincy, but they have given us more trouble than they should have over the years. With this being Steve Smith's last game, maybe they get juiced up to send him out a winner.

I could see SD rebounding after the embarrassment, but bad plays at key points in the game has been their season. KC should smell blood, with McGloin under center for Oakland, they have a golden opportunity to go from 0 home games to 2 games at Arrowhead with a win.

Several people suggested Benelli, Browning Citori, and a few others. I chimed in with Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon. He responded back to me, "Good call. That's what I got!" Evidently, it's the high end shotgun of choice for professional athletes, lol.

No, you certainly could take it wing shooting. It's primarily sold as a clays shooting gun. I just meant that with the custom engraving, they are more show pieces ($$$$) - most consumers of such product would be reticent to get them around mud and blood. Giants +7. They may rest Eli and OBJ, but they don't rest the defense much, unless a guy is nicked up.

I'll take NE -9.5. Defense does not give up points. Pats playing for home field advantage, while Miami is #6 regardless.

Saints +7. Falcons among the worst pass defenses. Payton opens up the playbook to say, "You're going to miss me when I'm gone". Drew Brees TD reception?

 

BTW - Saw an interesting factoid: Dez Bryant to Jason Witten will be the only TD pass thrown by a left-hander this season. There is not one left-handed QB on any roster. Ken Stabler, Jim Zorn, Steve Young... where did the crafty left handers go?

David Johnson has accounted for 37% of the Cardinals total offensive output for the season.

 

When Adrian Peterson won the MVP award, that season he accounted for 43%.
