Received a UPS delivery confirmation for tomorrow from ECCO USA. Shoes will be in tomorrow. Too bad I am out of town till Friday.

Got mine over the weekend and walked a 9 yesterday evening. Here are my observations:

 

Fit:

- Coming from Nike Lunar Control 3's, these sit much lower to the ground.

- I usually wear a 10.5 wide, and the 10/10.5 fits great. Fits a tad bit too long, but that's always been my problem with Ecco.

- Doesn't fit as snug as the LC3's but had no problem with heel slippage.

- Overall, it doesn't fit like a "second skin" but I really enjoyed the low profile

- 7/10

 

Comfort:

- Became more comfortable as the round went on. I'm assuming because it started conforming to my feet.

- Very flexible

- Doesn't have as much padding as my Nike's but its ergonomic design made them a breeze to walk in

- 8.5/10

 

Stability:

- The combination of its low to the ground profile and "cage" makes it a very stable shoe.

- I was able to maintain good balance and traction in all lies (uphill, downhill, sand, mud, etc.)

- Great grip especially on hard, full swings

- 9/10

 

Materials:

- As expected, the materials are top notch. From the leather to the insoles, everything felt and performed of the highest quality.

- The waterproofing is amazing

- Easy to clean

- 10/10

 

My overall first impression was very positive. I'm sure the fit will improve as the shoe continues to break-in. I love the materials and the stability. This is the type of shoe you know you won't have to replace every year as long as you take good care of it. Thank you Ecco and Golf WRX for the opportunity (and saving me $200!).

Just received mine on Tuesday and managed to get out for a few holes today. This is the first pair of Eccos I have owned and am very excited about them. They are rally comfortable and have a unique feel. The lower profile is especially noticed in the heel for me. It feels very snug and secure, definitely feels a little lower to the ground than others. Really great grip and comfort. I agree with the other person who posted that they are just a little long; but it is really a nit picking comment from me. They are great, flex where needed and feel secure and stable in the swing. Looking forward to the summer!

This was one of those I wanted to win but I am almost glad I didn't. I am sure I would fall in love with the shoes and then spend all my extra $$ on shoes instead of clubs.
