Ping Tour 65 V's Matrix Red Tie 6Q3

Just curious if anyone could shed some light on which of these two shafts would launch and spin less. Is there a noticeable difference and what about overall stiffness of the shafts?

 

As always help and opinions appreciated.

The Tour 65 is a low flight profile, the Red Tie is mid flight. The Red Tie, like seemingly all the "Tie" shafts, plays stiff to flex though, so that lowers launch somewhat.

 

I've never used the RT but I had a Tour 65 for a while in a G30 and thought the feel was very ordinary. I replaced it with a Rogue Silver and noticed an immediate (slight) increase in launch and better feel (to me).

Interestingly I thought that the Rogue silver launched lower than the Tour 65. Just sold my Rogue. Agree that the Ping Tour 65 shaft is a bit "meh" doesn't offer much in terms of feel and feedback. I have a Red Tie to try, just awaiting the grip arriving.

I just made this exact switch. I had a Big Bertha Alpha with a Red Tie in it before I switched to the G30 that came with the Tour 65 in it. The Tour 65 was accurate for me but I lost about 15-20 yards vs the BBA with the Red Tie. As the Red Tie worked good for me in the BBA, I put it in the G30 and got every bit of distance back with it and lost no accuracy. For me the Red Tie works best. It definitely has a higher ball flight as I had the Tour 65 set at +1 on the loft and with the red tie I put it back down to the standard 9º.

Update.

 

Absolutely loving the Red Tie G30 combination. Works really well for me, great feel and feedback and importantly a much better flight and distance compared to the Ping Tour 65.
