S vs. K grind

Hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade my lob wedge soon and I've narrowed it down to these two grinds. I'm looking to play it out of the bunker and also play full shots from the fairway. Seems like the S grind might be a better grind for me to play the full shot and open it up around the green. Anybody else decide between the two? I did a search but it's not exactly user friendly...

I have both of them and the s grind is far better as a one or the other option .

Feels much better on square faced shots while also having plenty of bounce for loaded bunkers and heavy rough .

An often overlooked issue is that the heavy sole on the K grind is more prone to sticking in thicker lies.

I recently attended a Titleist Thursday for a wedge fitting and went through the entire wedge line-up. I'd been using a 60K for most everything and wanted to see if maybe I was better suited to something else. Was very impressed with the S for it's versatility. Surprised that it was nearly as easy from the sand as the K, which shines from the bunkers. The S was much better than the K from the fairway, greenside and tight lies. I'm a sweeper and my K has been problematic in certain situations as described by Donny G in the previous post. I ended up adding a 54-14 F to my bag as it worked great with my swing from fairways and greenside but the S lob may be coming soon. Check the Titleist site. I think their Titleist Thursdays are going all summer at courses throughout the country.

I went from 60k to 60s. K is great in sand and I would hesitate to pull it out anywhere else. S iS good all around.

I have really taken to the K grind since putting a 60º in the bag in April. It is indeed great out of bunkers, but I haven't noticed any negatives from the fairway or rough like some of the posters mention above.

In addition, the wide flange sole makes it easy to hit short, touchy chips without digging the club into the ground. Basically, the K grind just makes it easier to use the bounce to eliminate certain kinds of hideous misses around the greens.
