Ive been out to and played golf in Vegas before.

 

Im not looking to pay $250 for bear's best this trip as im with a friend who will prolly shoot 100.

 

Anyone know or belong ( and able to get us out) some courses we should play?

+1 for Reflection Bay. First Class Facility from the minute you hit the Parking lot to putting your bag in the Car at the end. Absolutely great track, be mindful of the tees and don't over estimate it as playing the wrong tees will really make your day harder. Lake Las Vegas is just a fabulous spot in general!

I can't stress enough how much Reflection Bay is worth it. It's my favorite course here.

Las Vegas national is cool (rat pack played there, tiger won there, Ryan Moore won there I think).

In October, Royal links would be fun. I think the links set up is harder for guys that hit the ball far. Greens can get tricky.

 

Rhodes ranch is pretty too. But if you want to have quick access back to the strip, Angel park is tough to beat.

If your buddy shoots 100 Paiute golfapooloza is the way to go. Two rounds with lunch in between for $130. When you have someone with a lower handicap and want to drop a little money Cascata was hands down my best golf experience on Wednesday.

This is from my recent trip last week...

 

So I just played Reflection Bay. There were a couple major differences since I initially booked. The range and putting green were removed and that property was sold. I would have liked to have known that prior, but what can you do. Staffers were awesome, course was perfect. The greens were playing 11, and everyone seems to repair their green divots. I love the views and elevation changes. Slightly errant drives can be saved on certain holes if the shot was only slightly offline, due to the concave,valley like fairways. I still played it in more of a strategic target style versus the swing away approach.. Some of its holes run on the shoreline, with 17 and 18 being their masterpieces.

 

After returning home I noticed that they had an offer for some Travis Matthew apparel with round purchase, and although it had expired, I explained to them I had traveled from Chicago, and they didn't hesitate to take down my address and send me some gear.

I played Bear's Best this past week. Course was in better than anticipated shape for the summer. TPC Las Vegas was in good shape as well but even the $50 twilight rate seemed a bit high to me.

I recently played Bear's Best as well. $55 bucks at 11am was well worth the money. Being 20 mins from the strip makes it a no brainer for me next time.

No range or putting green on Reflection Bay? Wow good to know. I played a couple times this summer and it was still there.

Highly unlikely as I think they just started their overseed. They always have 18 holes open but it will be the end of October before everything is back in good shape based on what I heard last week. I was playing Reflection Bay (started overseed this week) with a buddy that considers Boulder Creek his home course.
