Not knowing the severity of J Day's back issue and knowing the fact that the money nor points really matter at this point, if you were in his shoes would you have finished the round or WD like he did to get ready (hopefully) for the Tour Championship? Also, did his WD change anything with who got in?

Jason is in this for the long haul. He has to protect his future, and his standing in the game. If he thinks there is the slightest chance of a serious injury, he has to protect himself. Good decision.

12 wins in 200 starts? Dam* DJ. He'll easily have 40+ wins in his career.

It's gonna be tough for Dustin to reach 40, but I suppose it's possible. He seems to have taken things to a new level.

If Dustin averages two victories per season for the next 10 years, he'll have 32 victories at the age of 42. He'll need a couple of monster years (4 or 5 wins) to have a chance. But again, it's possible.

The good thing about Dustin is that he wins every year. He doesn't have those two or three year droughts without "W's." He'll have to keep that going.

Where would Justin Thomas be if his WGC win was part of Ryder Cup Points?

You mean his CIMB Classic win (not a WGC)? He'd have been 13th.

Ah, that's right

I like it when DJ wins. Win or lose he takes it the right way. Not too high not too low.

What a ball striker. Could watch him all day.

Im going to say him or Rory reaches it. He was winning regularly without working on his wedge game. Dustin was unbeatable tee to green today.

I've never seen anyone make golf look so easy. DJ is just stunning from 150 an in

And with driver in hand now since he changed to a fade at US Open. Seriously it is 320y to fairway (well 60% of time) and fantastic wedge in with his vast improved wedge play every par4/5 now. Looks like he is on cruise control with those two clubs and not even hesitating with either and making game look so easy. Add in putting like this weekend, ohh my.

Agreed. Others like McIlroy, Spieth, Day all have some back & forth with the caddies, DJ just strolls in, hits the shot and 8/10 it's good. I'd love to get to a point where it was so comfortable.

The driving is just ridiculous. An average of 314. I'm happy averaging 205 in the middle most after putting a lot of work in. The idea another 100 yards could be had is mind boggling.

I know it's early, but DJ could be another Tiger. Just a dominating game. He's hitting wedges with everybody else hitting middle irons. That has to be intimidating. That power fade is amazing. Just as long and seems more accurate.

The only thing lacking, which is improving is the area between his ears.

He's definitely in a good place. Good for him. I'm officially a DJ fan.

Another Tiger? Have we forgotten how good Tiger was?

I wouldn't say another Big Cat though lol. I mean if you're talking about '97 Tiger where he was out driving everyone, then yeah.

I honestly think he didn't change nothing between the ears. Just worked on the weakest part of his game. He always was a pretty good putter (Chambers Bay notwithstanding) he wins every year. I lol'd at Steve Sands asking Dustin to explain what he did differently to win this week. And he literally was like "I dunno really".

DJ has 12 PGA Tour wins at age 32. Tiger had 14 majors at age 32. Pretty much the same thing, isn't it?

Ouch!!! Okay ... I see your point.

My point is that his game is very intimidating. He has more power than anyone in the game right now. If he could harness that killer instinct that Tiger had ..... who knows how many majors he could win.
