Busy Summer and I have not marketed these. If interested, let me know. Great shafts - they are mine. I am not a reseller. I bought them to use in my drivers and fairways, but I am no longer a stiff flex. My loss of speed is your gain.

How Purchased: New from my Clubmaker, Callaway or Like New Callaway PreOwned. Callaway PreOwned does not tip shaft for drivers.

Tough to say as to spin.

 

The purple is great as it feels a bit smoother to me but the Isawa Driver Shaft is tipped .25 inches, which will give it added stability. Both launch mid-high, the purple has more of a smooth kick; The feel of the Isawa is stable to me and is described as an active bend profile, meaning, I think, it depends on the player. At the same time, because the flex is a bit too strong for me, I believe a player suited to a stiff flex would find it smooth.

 

Some may find the Isawa more stable than the purple, which, because of its great kick, can move left a little -- I looked at other reviews and this seems to be a consensus. I need a 55 03 flex in the purple ... Hope that helps.

Could both of the red shafts play in fairway woods, or was the one tipped specifically for driver play? I'm interested in the purple, but was thinking of playing the red in my fww if the tip is more active with a little higher launch.

The Isawa tipped .25 inch driver shaft could play in a 3 wood - it is tipped less - would give you more launch.

 

The Isawa 3 wood shaft can be tipped for any higher lofted fairway wood.
