Adidas Crossknit boost golf shoes. Full length boost—Spike less, I like!

Saw this posted on twitter. These have my interest as I really enjoy the 2015 adidas sport boost.

If you've worn Ultraboost shoes, you'll know how comfy they are, I seriously doubt a full boost midsole will be able to handle a full speed golf swing.

I'm sure they can control the density/cushioning while still maintaining some of the feel of an all boost sole. Just a guess.

These have my attention. Wonder if the sole will have enough traction for golf, hope they're not too narrow, and hope they're stable feeling/not too 'elevated'. They look just like running shoes.

Interesting. I just hate how much taller boost shoes make you. If they could cut the padding down some I'd use them.

Crossknit is a closer weave and less permeable whilst retaining breathability.

 

Don't know about basketball but certainly for running, Boost cannot be beaten IMHO

Love the ultra boosts and thinking about grabbing these. Some actual 3 stripes on the side would have been cool instead of the weird lines/stripes.

I have a family member who's been a caddie for 20+ years and happens to be a huge boost fan as well. He bought these the day they came out.

 

Comfort wise they aren't as comfortable as a standard ultra boost because the crossknit is much stiffer, which is great for golf.

 

The lower portion around the toe box and rest of the shoe is waterproof, but the moment you get water on top of the shoe your feet are going to get wet. Basically there's little to no waterproofing.

 

Besides the waterproofing these are great, stability is better than expected for basically an ultra boost with grip on the bottom. I'd imagine if you found a very good waterproofing spray and gave this shoe a few coats of it you might be able to wear these in the rain.

Thanks for the reply. I am intrigued to buy these now. Usually morning wetness is only on the toe box/sides, so this should be ok for the non-rain days; especially with some water proofing spray.

Get a can of scotch guard and go to town. Apply once every 5-7 wearings. Boom. Waterproofed.

After some bad experiences with non-waterproof shoes, I am not sure I go that route again. But these look great for the driving range. Excited to see what else they have coming out.
