I just have to say that the Kuro Kage Dual Core Tini XT is the best shaft I've ever hit. I was and still am a big fan of the Tour AD Gp but the KK DC XT blew it away, well for my swing at least.

Feel is great, super stable, tight snap through impact as opposed to a kick. You cannot overpower this shaft. I can launch it high or hit it low. This shaft combined with the Epic SZ head I have is straight $$$ best driver set up I've ever had.

I'd have to agree, it's really stable but still has tons of feel. In the past you'd have to play a really boardy shaft to get this kind of stable and it would sacrifice the feel or I'd have to feel like I was "really on" with my swing to make a shaft that stiff work. MRC knocked it out of the park with this one for sure.

This shaft is sooo good it's almost messing up my course management lol. I'm looking for ANY reason to pull the driver now ;)

I agree that there is no compromise with this shaft. It's amazing you can have super stability, low spin and great feel all in one. This shaft is a unicorn :)

The nut on my puller seized while removing the Titleist tip to install a TM tip and the shaft twisted a little on me just above the adapter and it snapped off after 2 swings at the range. I was literally sick over it and I am going to miss the hell out of this shaft. If anyone is looking for a 68g TX that will likely need to be tipped about 2" after the tip is cut a little more let me know.

MRC, if you read this please send me a PM to see if we can work something out so I can buy another.

Let me tell you guys, TollBros is a hell of a guy. He emailed me and said he would hook me up with one at a really good price after reading what happened. If anyone ever needs any of the Tour issued MRC shafts (KK, Tensei, etc.) be sure to contact him. He is a great asset to this forum.

Having my DC 70TX built in a 2017 Tour Issue M2 right now. Going back to a shorter length that I played in college at 44.5". It looks like the DC/VA/MD area is again trying to get as many seasons into one week as possible and has decided it's going to be winter again starting Friday. Who knows when I'll get to put the new build in play, but I'll post results once do.

I swear, weather in VA has been nutty lately. 70 all week then 30's by the weekend with a good chance of snow. I'm ready for consistent warm weather!

Yeah I'm over the va weather. It needs to decide what season we are in.

Probably way too much loft for you, ha.

2017 M2 9.7* actual loft, 1.8* open, one click toward lower. DC 70TX tipped .5" at D4. 44.5" playing length.

No kidding. I've already had rounds planned for Sat. and Sun. pushed. I don't need Spring in early March, I would be happy with 50s!

Yes I personally could use a bit less loft, but that's an adult's driver set up for sure. Haha. The dual core XT in M2 is an awesome combo.

+1 I can attest to that! I bought a KK DC 80tx from him at a great price and it was on my doorstep the next day! Unreal access to tour gear at great prices. Very lucky to have him here on this board.

Been interested in this shaft in an M1 head (new version.) My contact on just about all clubs is pretty much in the middle of the face, with my normal miss off-center toward the toe -- except driver. Inconsistent strikes. I play to an 8 handicap, mainly because I spray the driver and contact moves around the face. From the tee is where I lose a lot of shots. Sometimes crush it but can't count on it. I am wondering if it could be shaft length as I have been trying 45.5 inch setups, which is how a lot of drivers come stock. I have had a Kuro Kage in a Srixon 545 driver I no longer have and currently have the KK hybrid in a Callaway Apex 20 degree. Shafts seem to fit me and I really love the KK Black hybrid. I also have had nice luck with the Diamana Blue, which to me felt better than the lower torque and heavier White. Today just to test shaft length, I hit 10 balls with a TM Aeroburner Mini and I was hitting that length (43.5 inches) right in the middle. Immediately better. But I like solid swingweight. So if I wanted the M1 with KK DC 60 in stiff (swing a driver at 103-105) and wanted it at 44.5 or 44.75 inches, can I get that and a swingweight of D3 or D4 without using tip weights? I feel like shortening up a bit could be a big help for my ball striking. In any case, seems like it won't hurt except maybe a little loss of distance. Thanks.

You can have hotmelt added to the actual head instead of tip weighting.

Have never done hotmelt. Read a lot of references to it as a way to dial in weight. Would need to take it to someone skilled. And not to sound like a novice, but is it a problem to use hotmelt in a head with moving parts such as the weight tracks? Doesn't affect it?

The weight tracks are on the outside of the head and the hotmelt would be added on the inside of the head.

What I am told is, TS flex is just a tour only flex of dc silver Tini.
