Instructors - Do you read/watch other instructor books/videos

I was just wondering whether the instructors on this Forum were following what their peers were doing and saying. Also, whether they pick up ideas from their peers.

Something I have wondered too particularly more recently when I read Hardy's book The Release as I have never heard it discussed like that before.

I actually had a copy delivered to my coach and hope he isn't offended but as he is a self proclaimed 'student' of the game I hope it is received in the spirit it was intended. I'll find out next week.

Well I say that...but is Butch Harmon sitting around watching videos? Probably not...but maybe?

Back when I was still in the industry, I would read as much as I could and watch as many youtube videos as possible. I find the golf swing fascinating and can't get enough info on how the swing works. The more knowledge you have the better, it's just up to the instructor to syphon out the bad info because there is a lot of it. Even now, I'm constantly researching the swing, searching for new ideas/instructors. Heck, I normally fall asleep to thinking about some aspect of a golf swing (I know I need help). But listening to all of these instructors out there also helps you as a player know who's good and bad. This is one of the reasons I'm such a fan of Monte, EA Tischler, Mike Adams, Dan, etc...because they genuinely "get it" and don't just hop on the tv/golf digest swing bandwagon like a lot of teachers.
