Is their a shortage of these putters? I have yet to see them on ebay or anywhere. I see them on the website but they won't ship to Canada.

my Atlanta is 35.5 and 2 degrees flat. The swing weight is exactly where my Austin is so I didn’t want to change it. I think I’ll just put it on the bst.

I tried it as well. For me- which is the key phrase- mallets just don't work. Maybe someday I'll get that through my thick skull. They look so easy to line up and roll but I putt much better with a blade.

 

Edit: now if I can just remember I putt better with slimmer grips and quit trying super strokes....

This is very true. I had an Odyssey 7s that I rolled very well but I grew up on anser style heads with pingman grips and that’s what I putt best with.

So I've wanted to roll one of these things for weeks, but still haven't been able to track one down at retail and have started to look elsewhere. Down to either the new Scotty Fastback or a Betti SS #3. Anyone who has rolled the Atlanta able to compare to either of those two? Should I wait to try the Atlanta?

According to the Toulon Instagram... the Atlanta will be on the Garage site 5/15. Can't wait to get one customized with no sight lines!

You can't force a putter to work. They should just come naturally...or be adjusted to feel natural.

 

It's a beautiful putter. When I bought my first brand new Scotty, I thought it was the most beautiful putter I'd ever seen. Couldn't make a putt with it to save my life.

I've only played 18 since picking it up and it was a touch too long so I just cut it down to 35" this weekend. Feels much better now.

On the plate it self, A7 indicates Aluminum and 7 grams. S20 Is for the stainless steel plate and 20 grams. T40 Is a tungsten plate which is 40 grams.

Have anyone tried both the Atlanta and the Taylormade spider and can give som feedback? I have used the Spider for the past season but i cant get used to the insert but I like a mallet with toe hang and no sight line.

I own both. The Atlanta feels significantly softer to me when you hit it on the sweet spot. Almost too soft as I was used to the black spider that I used for the last year.

Actually they add weight to the grip and the head. The 25g grip and 20g head weights are used together. The 50g grip and 40g head weights are used together.

You are correct in standard blade covers are too tight. The putter comes with a mid-mallet cover. I use a regular mallet cover. It is little loose but works.

Exactly my situation. I've tried a slimmer grip (Toulon etched lampkin) which I love the feel of but it didn't solve the problem. I'll be re-listing in the BST soon but if anyone wants one PM me or check archives. I'll include the original green and black Toulon SS 2.0.
