They've also been sitting a while too, the Zing style is nice and unique. Potentially could have come home with me from my AZ trip if I didn't go the other route.

I rolled that one when I was out there.  Felt nice.  Something like that could be build #3 for me when the time comes.

I don't think Lamont has many of those heads. They were a special order by a former MLB player so that might be the last one unless he has a head somewhere. 

 

But a Zing style is definitely tempting but so is his MA/66 or MA/55 lol.

Haha so true they’re all so tempting!  Lamont told me the story of that putter too.  Kind of cool with the MLB history.

Could be the mast head....BUT....Lamont can really just Hand Make anything.

Anyone have any advice on the best way to get ahold of Lamont?  I sent an email at the start of the week and got no reply.  I have also sent emails in the past year and he never followed up.  There is a lot of great looking work and praise in this thread, but my experience has been poor as far as communication goes.  Am I better off calling him?

Call 2ndSwing Scottsdale and see if he's there or fill out the order form on 2ndSwing for their Hand Made Stix

I have had good results getting a response from him with a PM here on golfwrx.  Try him at @golfluvzme.  While I've never bought a putter directly from him, I've owned one of his pieces and bounced ideas off of him previously, and he has always been very helpful.

Yeah his current shop is in the 2ndSwing Scottsdale store, you can also message him on Instagram if you have it.

 

I posted a few pics of the shop when I was there in this thread but Lamont wasn't there.

LaMont just recently had surgery on his shoulder(early November last year I believe).  I know the work he had in process he made arrangements for, but wasn't taking on anything new for awhile due to the surgery and rehab.  He is back in the shop now and working on some smaller items(divot tools, ball markers and a few other things) as he builds his strength back up to 100%.   I know he was getting tons of get better soon and health messages on IG, email and other areas so it could have been easily missed.

 

Give him a few weeks and reach out to him on IG and email or calling him.

Thanks for the responses guys.  Lamont reached out to me via PM, and we currently have a build going.  I will post some pics in the thread when it is done.

My MA66 has arrived!  Very happy with how this turned out.  Lamont has been a blast to work with.  If you’re on the fence about ordering one, do it!

It is torched stainless.  It almost has a grayish blue hue to it.
