As the title says, the wife and I are heading to Phoenix that weekend and Saturday is my day for golf! I'd love to get together with a few of you for some golf and lunch or something. Let me know!

Yeah. We are driving up front tucson. My wife has a conference on Friday and Saturday.

Best time of the day to play on a Saturday. I usually try to grab the first tee off time when I'm in Scottsdale

Awesome! Let's try and get a 4 some going early Saturday. Which course where you thinking? I know exactly zero about Phx golf except that it's more expensive than Tucson golf lol.

I would be open to most courses....for pricing, Aguila is probably hard to beat, especially if you don't have a local golf card...The Raven has been getting good marks on course conditioning lately on golfadvisor, but not sure if that really means anything...that one is 80 for residents.

I've heard nothing but good things about Aguila, so I'm thinking that might be the best bang for your buck. As much as I want to experience some of the top Phx area courses, I don't feel like paying a couple hundred bucks right now.

You could probably lock down a tee time around $90 at Southern Dunes early (like 8am or 820)... It's a bit of a hike to get there but is a great course

ok so we are probably looking at Aguila on the 8th....Who is in with Ship and I? It's a 9 day window for booking and I'd like to book it at the start to make sure we get the time....Looking at 7:15-7:30am

OK.......Most everything is booked around Scottsdale....the only options I can find are Toka Sticks or Lone Tree...both of which are 45 minutes from Scottsdale or maybe a little less depending on where you are staying and both are $60....the only other option I can think of is TPC Champions Resident Walking but not sure of the booking window and if times would be taken by the time it opens up.

Damn ? My only problem I'm running into is transportation. My wife is going to have to drop me off wherever it is we play and I doubt she's gonna drive me 45 min away from Scottsdale. Let me talk to her and see where the hotel is.

There isn't much available....the other option would be We Ko Pa if the early times are still available...they have a 7 day booking window so I can check Saturday morning....it's $99 for residents....let me know.

Wekopa is booked only have a handful of openings for 2 or less players and none of those before 1:30 Grayhawk is pretty lunched too.

ANyone have any insight on Arizona Biltmore? They have tee times on the 8th for $75.

Personally I'm not a big fan of the Biltmore courses...but there are a few good holes....I'm gonna have to stick to early morning. I'm probably going to either go to Toka Sticks or Lone Tree.....Sorry, I know Aguila books fast but normally I don't have an issue getting an early time there....May be more busy early so people can get home to watch the masters.

I think Biltmore is just going to be easier for me to play since where we are staying is near there. Thanks though. If anyone wants to join me there let me know.

I'm not sure where you are staying exactly, but if you're close to the biltmore, I'd suggest looking at Papago too. Much better course and should be ballpark same price, maybe cheaper

Thanks. I ended booking at Papago. $67 walking. It's such a huge price difference from the Tucson courses, but from what everyone says the course conditions are amazing out there. I'm excited.
