That 4 shot penalty is really going to hurt now.

Look up rule 18/2, if not discernible by the naked eye, even if clear on TV, no penatly for ball oscillation. Not same rules as marking and placing in different spot.

Sergio is not American. It can be hard for people from other places to understand what is off limits. I don't think it would be that far of a reach for Sergio to think that it was a common American joke without fully understanding the racist undertones behind the comment.

 

This x 10. If Tiger had said the same thing about Sergio and paella everyone would've had a chuckle and moved on. I don't think there was any malicious or racist intent on Sergio's part.

Of course it is, but I would bet a $1000 you've said something similar or worse. It's easy to be on a high horse when the spotlight is never on you. He said something shameful, apologized, took a beating in the press, and moved on. If you don't know how to forgive and move on, that's your loss.

It was a good finish, yes, but a lot of players put in a lackluster performance. I'm looking at you Spieth and Rickie and everyone else except for Pieters.

 

Even the final group missed a lot of make able putts.

 

Kind of how I jinx guys by getting them on my fantasy baseball team.

As an Irishman I often get comments featuring potatoes from Americans. Now, if I was being a POS I could get offended as the Irish/Potato connection stems from a mass genocide of the Irish people where the potato crop failed and the British exported all the other food resulting in the population of Ireland being almost cut in half (almost 2 million dead).

 

Instead though I am reasonable and understand they likely don't know the background to the connection.
