I Made My First Las Vegas Golf Trip

So this last week a buddy and I made our first Vegas golf trip from 4/13-4/16. I thought I would share my experience and pricing here for anyone interested.

 

Thursday 4/13

 

Bear's Best

Tee Time: 7:30

Price: $91.00/ Player (Golfnow)

 

Being our first course on the trip we were pretty excited about this place. It was very well taken care of. I had read some reviews that this course doesn't really have a good flow. I felt that a little just because of it's holes from all different courses. I still really enjoyed that. The greens were recently punched and sanded so that was the most enjoyable thing but we all deal with that this time of the year. The wind did come up pretty good later in the round but It was still fun.

 

Saturday 4/15

 

Reflection Bay

Tee Time: 9:50

Price: $100/ Player (Golfnow)

Replay: $17/ Player

 

After a 20 minute drive or so from the strip we knew we were in for a good day when we pulled into the course subdivision. The area that this course sits in is absolutely beautiful. After getting checked in we hit the "range" which is only about 20 bays hitting into a net 20 yards away. A little bummed we couldn't see our shots but hey its just warm up. We considered playing the white tees but decided to play the blacks. It didn't seem like it was too long. The fairways are pretty wide open. I actually hit all 14 for the first time ever with my driver. I average about 260 off the tee so I was happy with that. The greens were in damn near perfect condition. After finishing our round we sat up on the patio and had a couple of drinks and some lunch. We talked about playing another 18 and after asking the clubhouse about replay prices we decided we had to. We were only charged another $35 for the both of us to play again so off we went. Overall a great course and highly recommend.

 

Sunday 4/16

 

Wolf Creek

Tee Time: 8:30

Price: $180

 

I was hesitant at first about playing here just because of the price. We were trying to stay on a budget but after being told by multiple people we decided to bite the bullet and do it. And I am so happy we did. This course is absolutely amazing. We played from the Masters tees here and the was just about right for us. We had zero course knowledge so there were a couple of holes were driver was way too much club to hit or direction was poor. Depth perception was thrown out the door due to the elevation changes. I didn't play to my handicap but I really didn't care. It was all about taking it all in and enjoying the course. If given a chance to play it again I would do it in a heartbeat. The whole course was in perfect condition. I really cannot say enough about this course so I won't go on and on.

 

 

Overall we had a great trip. We played three outstanding courses for what I think was some very reasonable prices. To go out and play four round for under $400 was a great deal. With the exception of the wind on the first day the weather was just perfect. It was about 75 each day and no clouds. This was a great time of year to go.

 

Memories were made and fun was had.
