I ordered some of these as well as about 5 of my friends....I've never felt so comfortable around the greens of inside 120 yards!

more spin than ANY other wedge on the market. switched from a SM Vokey and it doesn't compare.. They have a new groove technology that puts a stupid amount of spin on them.

also the variable bounce technology allows you to hit soooo many different shots. you can open it up and you have a 3rd sole on there so you don't have to worry about hitting it skinny or flubbing it!

I will guarantee anybody if you buy this wedge you will love it!!

GUARANTEED!!

Well, I'm not sure what the terms of your guarantee are, but I'd like to collect, lol.

I bought a pair of these hoping to match my J33's and replace my Mizunos.

I'll agree with above that they felt light in comparison but put plenty of action on the ball. I didn't care for the sole grind or the leading edge - I had the 54 and the 60 and for both I felt like the wedge had too much bounce. I want a sharp leading edge that sits flat when square, and the sole on these make the leading edge sit slightly off the ground. Combined with the lighter swingweight I found myself bellying delicate chips.

I don't doubt these are good wedges, but didn't fit my eye or what I want out of a wedge. Short game clubs are so personal though, and I don't want to discourage anyone from trying these. It's just my opinion of them.

I have yet to play a round of golf with these wedges in my bag due to a slow healing broken wrist, but I have hit them on the practice grounds....

I was hitting one hop and stop pitches from 30-50 yards and the spin you can impart on a Pro-V1 is awesome. The variable bounce sole is kinda neat too, especially on semi-tight lies when you want to lay it open and flop it, but the lie is not conducive to such a shot. I guess they're probably not for everyone, but I like the soft feel around the greens. The verdict is not in on longer approaches from the fairway, but inside 50 yards I give them an "A."

I bought the 52 degree as a gap wedge to compliment my Tourstage Z56 and Z60 Forged chrome wedges. I was happy with it and then bought the Liquid Copper 56 and 60...

Lets say its been a learning experience. My old wedges had not much bounce and had a razor sharp leading edge. As the previous reviewer noted about the bounce and leading edge I was initially a bit so so about it.

However I am now getting the hang of them after about 2 months and about playing 2 times a week with them. heaps of spin but they shred balls like no tomorrow.

Nice weight, I think the are too heavy. The feel is OK I guess, I would prefer forged ones next time. I am happy with them, they look very very good to be honest. The 56 out of the sand is perfect much better than my old Z56. Probably due to the smaller head shape on teh WC wedges.

Overall I think they are great but has taken a lot of patience out of me learning these wedges!

I posted a review of these when I was healing my broken arm, but now I can comment on full swing shots. These things really peel the cover off the ball. I can spin it from anywhere with any length swing. The grooves are gnarly ball biting animals. Yeah, they probably are a bit on the light side, but I've gotten accustomed to it.

I just got 2 WC tour black wedges, 56 and 60. They came as a set, so instead of getting a 54, I had the 56 bent to 54. It will also reduce the bounce. They have Project X 5.5 shafts in them.

Enough about the specs, I just got back from the chipping green and they are nice wedges. They are the first clubs I would call "sexy". I've always like the look of black wedges and now I've got some. They do spin like the other said and compared to the Vokey's, they are a little on the light side.

Great looking wedges and the black finish is like no other. I look forward to getting my J36 irons and playing the most under appreciated company in golf, Bridgestone.

I bought a 56* (regular finish) from the course where I work. My boss (& head pro) told me that if I want it, just take the demo for $40. Now this was when they just came out and we were selling them for $89 each! Well, I absolutely love it! I was thinking about getting a new set of wedges, but decided to only get a 52* and 60*. I just cant see using a different wedge. I looked on eBay to get the 52* and 60* but they are too expensive for me :(. I am not one to spin the ball much but with this club I rarely see the ball in front of my divot mark.

just picked up a hell of a deal on one of these LC wedges. 56 degrees, I do agree it has a tad too much bounce but I'll probably bend it to 54 a to reduce that, then get a new 60 degree and bend it to 58. I hit a few full shots into the net and man, these things just shredded the hell out of the ball, which is awesome IMO hahaha. You can get em new for 30 less than a vokey, and get it with an s400 shaft to increase the weight. My 54 degree vokey actually feels a hair lighter.

Also, buy j36's before june 30th and you get a free wedge!

Well, I found the perfect wedge and I have tried many many many wedges. The Bridgestone WC 58*/11* is my new favorite. I am still getting used to the 52* gap wedge but it is good too, the J33 forged wedges look nice matching my J33 CBs but did not perform well for me, I really wanted to like those forged wedges but these WC wedges are better for my game. The variable bounce technology seems to work. Great shape too. I got both wedges for under $50 slightly used on Ebay.

How do the WC wedges compare to the cleveland CG12 wedges in performance, feel and spin? Also, any of you have these wedges in PX flighted or non-flighted?

My WC's have Project X 6.5's in them. I have no complaints and like the feel of the Project X in the wedges. The heavier stiffer shaft is also nice.

Does anyone have these WC wedges in the liquid copper finish? How does it look, is it too yellow? Also does anyone use these in PX flighted shaft? Have PX flighted 6.0 in my j36's and love them, just wondering if I should upgrade to same shaft???

I have the 60 in LG.

Best lob wedge for me -- it does everything around the greens. You want a 5 yard flop? Done. You want a low chip? Done. You want to get out of the bunker? Done. You want a medium pitch? Done. You've got tight lies? Works wonderfully. You need spin? Got it.

The only problem is that after a month the LG goes raw and looks like an 80 yr old man - it still performs beautifully, it just doesn't look well for the wear. lol.

the liquid copper does wear quickly, but so does the vokey oil can for the most part. I just soaked mine in coke and got them raw and let them rust, they look incredible now!

Looking to get new bridgestone WC wedges. What lofts do you guys use out there??? Right now I have a 47* PW, looking to fill in from there with 2-3 wedges, just don't know if having four wedges is toooooo many options? Thinking of (47, 52, 56 and 60) or (47, 52, 56) Any feedback???

Depends on your game and shaft length you want -- with a 46/47 PW -- I like a 50/51 - 54/55 - 58/59 - the 54-56 in the WC Lineup is usually the highest bounce wedge. I like a 58-60 as a lower bonce wedge with grinding for versatility around the greens. I've found the 60 LC to be extremely versatile (58 would be similar) so I'd have both the 56 and 60 (or 54 and 58) and get a 52 and bend it to 50/51.

Does anyone have a problem with the weight of these clubs. I put the PX 6.0 flighted shaft in them to match my J36 set and they just seem very light, especially the clubhead. Does anyone notice this, especially out of the rough that the clubhead feels like it's not even there??? Tried 3 pieces of lead tape and still feeling light. Help!!!

I have one with an s400 and one with an DG wedge shaft, I like the s400 much better but the wedge flex is in my 60 degree, so Im not really taking full shots with it anyways. I dont mind the weight at all.
