Project x LZ vs Project x PXI

Has anyone compared the Project X LZ and PXI in irons and/or wedges? I have the PXI in my irons and I like it, but want something a little heavier. I like the feel of the LZ better, but have only limited experience with the shaft. I would like to hear thoughts from anyone that has tried both.

LZ has a more pronounced solid kick and felt crisp to me. Launch was a smidge higher than PXI. Easier to load. To me PXI is just a lighter PX original. I love PXI but have had great results with LZ.

 

Honestly if blind folded I couldn't tell the difference between LZ and the TT XP115 shaft. I get identical results from those two. And actually prefer the XP.

i did a Callaway fitting tonight and tried them. I have PXI 6.5 in my XForged 13's and compared them against LZ 6.5 in Apex Pro 16's and the numbers were almost identical. Dispersion was a little tighter with the LZ and they didnt go left as easily. Basically i would just call them a heavier true to flex PXI

If I play PXI in 6.5 and regular PX in 6.0 what do you think I should do? Soft Step a 6.5 or Hard Step a 6.0 or can I play straight up 6.0?

I played px 6.0 for along time and played pxi 6.5 for about a year. Last year I picked up a set of Srixon with lz 6.0 and have loved the way they play. I would give the 6.0 lz a try first. I can go after the ball with the same aggression as I did with the px 6.0 and have not had any issues. The lz is a great iron shaft, especially if you are a px fan.
