Jerrett Garner club fitter... Fairfield,CT

I have heard a lot about this guy but his Facebook page contains almost zero information and I wasn't able to have him reply to my email. For those that have gotten fittings with him would you mind elaborating on how your session was with him and what kind of Technology he uses.

I am on the verge of replacing my full bag which I haven't done since 2004 so whomever I use really has to do a great job for me.

I appreciate any input you guys might have

I live about 5 minutes away from Garner Golf. Jared is a great guy, loves golf, clubs, and club repair. I have never been fit by him, and don't know the equipment he uses, but I know you won't be hitting balls on a range, it's more like a small bay in the back of his small shop. I know he is listed as a top fitter in Connecticut by Golf Digest, but I will point out that he and Jerry Tarde (Golf Digest chairman and editor in chief) are both members at the same country club. My advice to you would be to stop by the shop, have a chat with him, and ask how he fits people and what equipment he uses. If you like what you see, then have at it. His hours can be a bit irregular, so make sure he will be open if you plan on stopping by. Hope that helps.

I am familiar with his location, as I worked at Fairfield University for 4 years and live in the area.

Not sure what the relevance bis regarding Jerry Tarde but ironically he is my brother in law's Uncle.

You don't see how the editor in chief of Golf Digest being members of the same club/friends with Jared has any relevance in his ranking as a top clubfitter in Golf Digest?

I didn't put 2 and 2 together at first!!

That does sound like a strong coincidence.

I had emailed Jerrett about a month ago regarding his fitting service but unfortunately he has yet to respond to my email. That is somewhat disconcerting to me moving forward
