I must say I placed my first order with them last week and am impressed. I ordered a shaft and placed my order on a Thursday afternoon using their standard shipping. Monday afternoon it was at my front door traveling from Phoenix to Atlanta. I'll definitely be a repeat customer. Many of their clubs have upgraded shafts as well.

Happy to hear that your order went smoothly. Just an FYI for those reading this, this is not always standard for ProClubs, in my experience. While their handling time has been commendable, in past orders they've advertised USPS Priority Mail, which is an "expedited" method on eBay, and then shipped FedEx Home, which is ground delivery that is 1-5 days and a "standard" method according to eBay. Personally, I think this practice falls somewhere between deceptive and shiesty. Not necessarily a deal breaker for me if the price or item is right, but something to keep in mind if you are hoping for an item quickly.

While we're on the subject, anybody have a free shipping code for Proclubs on eBay? I know it's a longshot, but I'm trying to find a 54* buddy for the 58* Ping wedge I got in the Kmart sale. Proclubs' price for a good condition used one is good before the shipping charge.

That's not really how eBay works. Shipping costs are decided by the seller, and I don't believe free shipping coupons exist for eBay.

Proclubs has a great selection. If I'm ever looking for a specific club on eBay, they usually have it. Price is competitive too. There are some 2nd hand club dealers (2nd Swing is a good example) who's prices seem outrages compared to the rest of the eBay market. It makes me wonder how they ever sell anything on there when every listing surrounding theirs is considerably cheaper.

They do FedEx ground for iron sets or heavier shipements. I’ve purchased over 30 items from them and they’ve been right on with shipping every time. It’s 3 days to me ground so not that big of difference.

If you advertise something, and charge for something else, it's not a little questionable to switch to something cheaper without asking first (regardless of whether or not it came close to the expected window)? FYI, It was not free shipping on the items I bought. For example- $12.95 for USPS Priority shipping for a hybrid shaft that was actually sent FedEx and took a week to arrive. Another time, same $12.95 shipping advertised... ordered a 5 wood for a golf buddy to be delivered to his home, ordered more than a week in advance of when I hoped it would arrive. It took over a week to arrive and he missed getting it before an outing we were playing in that I wanted to surprise him for. If it were advertised as ground shipping with an option to pay more for expedited shipping, I'd have gone that route to increase the likelihood of the club getting where I wanted it to when I wanted it to. Not the end of the world, but worth pointing out. I didn't leave bad feedback or anything because everything else was exactly as I expected, but I did leave less than perfect on their shipping rating. Just to add, mine was not a set of irons or something heavy. It was individual clubs, heads, or shafts every time.

I'm happy your orders have gone well with them, but I've had a different experience. Is it par for the course? I don't know, but it's out there and can happen. I haven't ordered over 30 items from them, but it's well over a handful and it's happened to me more than once with them (and I wonder how many times it's happened to other people and they just haven't noticed). My post wasn't intended to bad mouth ProClubs- I've bought from them in the past because of good deals, and I will continue to if the deals are worth it... and I am not in a hurry to get an item (or I could reach out when I buy to make sure that their listed shipping method is accurate). I just was just putting it out there to make other members aware that it can happen and inform their decision to buy from them. Maybe someone doesn't care, maybe they pay closer attention and keep an eye out for it, maybe they decide that it's not worth the risk and find another seller if timing is crucial. I owe no allegiance to ProClubs simply because I've gotten good deals in the past, but rather would like to share both the good and bad of my experience with them and let others make a decision based off that and other's feedback.

To be clear: my experiences with ProClubs have been overwhelmingly positive, but their shipping practices have left some things to be desired and left me slightly disappointed in the circumstances. It won't dissuade me from dealing with them in the future if the item and price are right, but I'll definitely pay attention to shipping when ordering from them moving forward.

Just did it to me on an iron set. I'm in Canada and the auction said USPS shipping. They decided to ship Fed Ex and it cost me an additional 50 for broker fees. With USPS and then Canada Post, half of my purchases make it through with nothing owing. Their decision cost me 50 bucks, I won't buy from them again.

It's weird they decided to do that to you when their other 164 sets of irons currently listed all specifically state "FedEx" when you click on Shipping Details.

FWIW, I can confirm they advertise USPS Priority, but ship FedEx ground. It's disappointing, but not a deal breaker for me. Their prices are good and condition is usually better than advertised.

side question: How does it work for Canadian buyers? Are there specific ways that don't cost but others do?

Regardless, i'm sorry to hear about your shipping issue. That would really taint how i liked my purchase. Especially because people like us tend to spend time and effort finding a good value/deal.

My experience has been guaranteed duties, taxes and handling fees with FedEx and UPS, but the service is quicker.

USPS is generally slower but you may or may not be handed additional charges.

I just like to know which service is being used. I factor the shipping costs into the price of the product to determine value.
