Be in Las Vegas Saturday thru Saturday. Going to get some rounds in, keeps me out of the casino's.

Thinking Paiute for the golfapolozza, coyote springs, TPC maybe head up to mesquite for a day.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, also will be a single so anyone would care to play hit me up.

One more ? Is stand by golf still an option for tee times or is tee-off or golfnow a better option.

Let me know where you plan to play on Monday, and I may join you. Unfortunately, many of the courses around town are closed for overseeding, and the ones that have just reopened are cart path only. There's a few exceptions, but it's not the best time of year to visit Vegas for golf. I did play Paiute today, and the conditions were fantastic.

Played Paiute and Coyote last weekend, both are in great shape. TPC just reopened either last week or the week before, so it is cart path only. I don't know if any of the courses rent push carts, I've never thought to ask before. Royal Links is a fun course, but it can be on the pricey side more often than not. Just played Revere Lexington yesterday, it just reopened within the last couple weeks so it was in pretty good shape.

Paiute, yes. Coyote, probably not. They do have a tournament on either Friday or Saturday though.

We do a golf trip twice a year and play reflection Bay which we all seem to enjoy; price is also good. We play a good range of the higher end and lower I'd say it is pretty good value.

Paiute sun punched 1st week of sept, wolf 2nd week, snow 3rd.

 

Reflection- is down now until 29th. then CPO until 6th of oct.

 

Do a search before booking times as September is a tough month for golf in Vegas.

Went to coyote springs. Very nice Played as single second group 3 hours. Took two to drive there and back.

Well after paying my dues in casino. I have a 7:30 ish time at desert pines.

As someone who had never been to LV before March of this year I thought the bermuda would have come in around April 1 and stay till Thanksgiving. I'm shocked that being there in late March and beginning of May the courses were still rye grass (or whatever you overseed with). Then I went in mid August and was surprised to see that the bermuda didn't hold up that well (I guess it can only be so drought and heat resistant) and that you guys start overseeding at the beginning of September. I would've thought overseeding there wouldn't start till October.

Las Vegas isn't as hot as Palm springs or Phoenix, There temps get colder sooner and that is why they overseed a month sooner. Prime month in Vegas starts mid October when the Shriners open usually is. January they can also occasionally get snow.

Finally back to reality and I got in four rounds. Here's a little recap on the courses I played.

Coyote springs was the first round. Awesome course. Definitely a must play. Only downside is the travel time. Second one outplaying as a single. 3.5 hour round everything in pristine condition.

Round two at desert pines. Totally enjoyed this course. About 20 minutes from strip. Tight of the tee and nice green complex's. Definitely would play again.

Royal Links was my third round. Nothing really stands out, just didn't fit my taste.

Spanish trail, this was my final round and I chose because of location, it was a pleasant surprise. Played lake & sunrise. Lake was first round then sunrise. Would have liked to play sunrise 1st. Much more demanding than sunrise. Will definitely go play again.

Had a blast. So many more to chose from.

I've played all 3 Paiute courses and they are great. Never got the chance to play Coyote Springs - can anyone chime in and let me know if it's worth the trip?

 

If you have time - play Wolf Creek GC and Conestoga GC in Mesquite. Simply amazing...

Played Coyote Springs on my trip. Awesome course. Must play if you don’t mind the drive.
