Grindworks Clubs

Grindworks clubs are very underrated and present very good value. I tried their latest driver with DAT55G face and its hot!

Have you tested any irons? If the wedges work out, I may be interested in the CB-1 or even DP-2 (I need forgiving). I'm also eyeing MF J2 irons.

I recently got 2 Grindwork wedges but went with Hiskei AX203 irons. Check them out

Very nice. I’ve actually been eyeing those as well. Almost went with the HK wedge before I found Grindworks. Those irons are awesome looking.

where can you order these in the US?

Soo many questions . how does the alloy metal feel? the heavy ones are really awesome looking if you want to grind them. 10+ grams heavy with tons of bounce that you can totally customize.

Do these take a tapered tip shaft? has anyone tried to torch these? so interesting and clean looking.

Fairway Golf USA will order the heads and build whatever you want. I haven’t hit the 86 Series yet, so can’t comment on feel. Setup looks great and clean.

Yes, both the mb and cavity. A very good firm feel. Not epon soft which is good as there is a lot more feedback. Closer to Miura feel for me. Wedges are a tad firmer given the different metal compounds used.

I hit a couple of the dp2 with 950gh shafts a few weeks back.

They felt very nice to be honest.. I'm not looking to change clubs at the moment but if the time comes I would consider testing this properly.

The pro and con at the same time is you may have to go to a independent club fitter which has great experience in fitting but may end up paying a little more for the club's you want. Either way it's an investment that could pay off

Of the 3, Orions. I played the first gen grindworks for a while which iirc were cast. The newer gen are forged i believe. Firm feel but super spin and they have a lot of sole grinds to match your game. That's their strength for wedges. Modart suda raw only. Nice Miura type feel. Very spinny as well. I have raw suda 46, 50 and 56 heads to sell. Pm me if interested.

I still like them just in a phase where I've lost the bug and have too much stuff so clearing. I also play grind studio irons and wedges and have gen 1 pxg t irons and wedges.
