I was thinking Brooks was going to play well at Kapalua but he is currently last. He also finished last at the Hero. I know golf is hard and anybody can have a bad streak, but is there cause for concern? Is he injured or just slumping? He had almost a month between the Hero and the Sentry. What do you think is the problem?

No, no ... Brooks will be just fine. He kind of drifts from week to week; he doesn't seem to have the fire and passion that guys like Spieth have. Then, all of a sudden, he'll explode for two or three weeks at a time.

WIND, Windy, blowing the opposite of yesterday, or last week. Some guys, and ALL of them are eligible, struggle with the trade winds out there. Ask Leishman today, it's tough? Brooks will be fine. They can't all show up with their A game all the time......

Hasn't Brooks said himself that he doesn't like to practice golf? Considering it's the "offseason", I don't think it's much of a stretch to think that he's been doing a lot of whatever it is that he likes to do besides golf. He seems to me like a guy whose athletic ability will separate him from most when his head is in it (like majors) and will struggle those weeks when he'd rather be doing something else.

Dude isn’t just in last, he regressed with a big ole 78 yesterday on a course that everyone else is having a field day on. It’s not like this course doesn’t suit his game either. It’s a bomber’s paradise out there.

It's just an opinion. When I see Brooks Koepka I see a player who finishes his career with less than 6 wins, even though it could be 2x that. I am not afraid of being wrong, and maybe he'll prove me just that!

It's just an opinion. When I see Brooks Koepka I see a player who finishes his career with less than 6 wins, even though it could be 2x that. I am not afraid of being wrong, and maybe he'll prove me just that!

 

I think this will be a common occurance in the years ahead. Emerging as dominant only to be swallowed up by the amazing depth of talent on the tour.
