Seen Gray play in high school a couple times. Played at a big private school in the area. Also remember him from the public high school he was at before. Never thought I would see him play at the level he is. He has put in the work over the years and made a really good player.

Down goes Arizona! Sean Miller is gone. After the FBI stuff going on, never making it past the sweet 16 over the past few years and now getting blown out in the first round.

Being on the east coast and a total ACC homer, is the Pac 12 really that bad? Like it seems like a mid major conference with everything going on lately.

 

I truly believe he has the drive to be a solid little off the bench player in the NBA. He has the heart and work rate to match.

 

He has great moves and really elevates on his jump shots for a...little guy.

I thought this was going to be the year they turned it around, and of course picked them to win it all in one of my brackets. But UMBC was just raining down 3s, it's hard to stop that even with a good D. What were they like 13/24? No one can keep that up, they are going get flattened next round.

Congrats to UBMC on the beatdown of UVA. Was this loss for UVA worse than Chaminade with Ralph Sampson? 1 vs 16 was 135-0 before tonight. Interesting discussion forthcoming.

Ordinarily I’d say these guys won their championship already. No one is going to remember who won the 2018 tourney other than their fan base, but EVERYONE will remember the first 16 seed to beat a 1. That said, who’s to say they can’t march on. UFGC made it to the final 4 a few years back as a 15. It’s all about getting hot at the right time.

Yeah, I wasn't feeling very warm and fuzzy with about 2.5 to go in OT. And Grayson just barely missed a crucial shot, could have gone in like 3 times. Skin of their teeth.

 

Now they just have to beat Nova and win the final game over Mich (Loyola used up all of their fairy dust), and beers are on me. Cmon big money!

my bracket was done with Virginia going out but still managed to have a chance to win if Kansas would have beaten Nova. oh well, hopefully it's a good game tonight.
