I was there when this took place. What these guys couldn't see from where they were was that Lemmon wasn't really standing on land but only on the overgrown ice plant that was hanging over the cliff. I'm pretty sure that stuff is strong enough to hold him but from the 16th tee, everyone was aghast, holding their breath, hoping nobody went over the edge.

Probably the best Sunday at a Major in recent years, what a battle!

 

Could very well be. I got the last two days recorded on my Tivo box and am rerunning them now little by little each morning when not working while getting some exercise on my exercise bicycle in front of the TV. Both days were terrific! A man-against-man race for 36 holes, exciting even on the last hole (if Stenriks drive would have reached that right bunker...). Obviously special for me since it was the first Scandinavian Male Major win, but regardless of that, one of the greatest tournaments ever. But as for a picture, the sinked putt on 16 is even better.

 

I am pretty sure at the 18 he hit his famed 3w and the big birdie was at the 15 ;)
