I just found the letter from John Hamarik whom sent me the Hogan photo.  Indeed it was 1951 Masters Round 2 Hole 3.

John was a tour player in 1984-85 thwarted by arthritis but he made it there to participate!

He did for a while, but the contract fell through.

 

Pitching wedge is a Mizuno. Sand wedge is a Wilson.

Not only did Seve like a visor with two Nike logos in the mid 80s, and two hats at Birkdale in '91, his irons also had two stamps. This is the sole view of the same set.

Taylor Made and Yonex came close in the early 90s with those fluorescent highlighter pen-coloured baseball caps, though. They were just the the thing if you had a burning desire for something that clashed starkly with your Slazenger V neck sweater and a pair of FJ Classics.
