Thinking about bagging some j15mb anyone else still playing them? Guy on eBay still selling brand new ones with dg pro stiff for $500

 

Long time kzg Zo blade user, recently playing fourteen 770s, but miss my blades. I did play with my kzg yesterday but itching for a slightly newer blade. Mine is circa 2003 or 2004.

 

How do these compare with the other great Japanese forged irons? I think I’m over analyzing but I literally keep clubs forever

Currently have the j40 DPC irons, previously had the J33 CB irons, wedges, and 715 Driver. Always play a Bridgestone ball. Love the irons, driver was good but it got blown out by my current M2 (mostly because of the shaft I believe).

 

Bridgestone makes fantastic clubs and I will continue to seek out their irons. I will try their drivers as I get the chance but damn they are pricey and hard to find new in retail.

I've only demo'ed it on a mat a couple of times, but it was a great feeling iron.

Just came here to say that I finally found an immaculate set of j40cbs and got them for a stealll. Over the last 3 years I have gone through countless irons and nothing could replace my trusty tourstages. Closest were the 745s or cobra mb/cbs.

 

These are for sure the best of the bunch. Theses will never leave the bag. All I need is to get out of these PX 6.5. Hate them. Probably going to the trusty x100s.

 

Leads me to ask, what shafts do yall have in the j40s?

J15 CBs are the best feeling and most forgiving players CB on the planet.

I'm kinda like the design of J40 CB over the J15 CB, and really like the clean design and the feel of J15 MB that why I keep them both.

I am jumping back and for between the two set.

I also have the 3 and the 4 J40 CB iron laying around. Should I put in the KBS 120 S so I can have the full set?

I just "discovered" Bridgestone irons and I'm quickly becoming addicted. I built a J36 combo set with Steelfiber 110's. Also just got a set of the black oxide j36's that I am putting some KBS Tours X's (soft stepped.) Added some J40 black ox wedges (54 and 60) and I quickly have a mostly B-stone bag!

Man I saw those and they are soooo tempting! Playing j015 cb’s and they are pretty rare and sweet feeling. Those nice shiny blades sure do look great!

The j15 MB’s are amazing irons. Beautiful looking and they flat out perform.

 

They are the most forgiving blade I have ever hit. No joke!

 

If anyone is even thinking about them, they are a must try!!
