Rogue Subzero “V” type driver on USGA website

Saw MGS reporting a new subzero version posted on USGA website. Could this finally be the 440cc compact pear shaped head to kick some of the RFX holdouts?? Or is this an XR replacement?

It would be cool to see a smaller headed SZ, but the USGA list shows 7 different heads (that's not counting right or left handed models which is up to 12). There's 3 USA releases obviously stand, draw, SZ, and the JDM Star.

 

My guess is it's just a release for the tour to keep their staff players happy, and playing a head that looks close to what's on the shelves and will make weekend warriors say "wow all these PGA players are playing Rogue, I need to get me one of them".

 

Again I'd love to see a 440 head but I don't think we'll see it unless it's in the BST or EBay at twice the price of a regular Rogue unfortunately.

Hmm, I’m thinking it could be 440cc, perhaps V stands for Velocity? Easier to swing a 440cc head faster than 460cc...???
