Man, this tournament isn't getting much love from the WRX crowd. No play by play or color commentary? Word is there's a tournament of sorts next week. Is everyone saving their chops for that one?

 

My hope for this tourney is for one of the big names i.e. Spieth or Fowler to have an impressive showing and potentially win. The more big names playing great going into the Masters the more entertaining the events of next week are going to be!

Was holding out hope earlier this year that Tiger might make an appearance since he needed tournament reps. He hasn't played in Houston since the TPC in '99.

 

I believe he played at Champions in 2003 for the Tour Championship.

If the Houston Open moves to a different course, I wonder where they might go. Champions again? If they want to get Tiger, the best way to do it would be move the tournament to his course in Montgomery County. Not sure the place could handle the crowds though.

Sadly I will not be making it out. While running Tuesday I must have re injured my sciatic nerve or possibly that muscle in my right front hip area. I could barely walk yesterday without severe pain. Been laying around since. Living on Advil. Lol. No way I could do it tomorrow. Too bad, my good friends have box seats on 16. Oh well, just glad I'm feeling a little better. Dang I must be getting old.

You can just buy GA tickets at the gate, super easy. Park at IAH remote lot and take a shuttle. Parking fee is separate from golf ticket.

It is. Love Paddy's game. Also good to see Julian Suri on the front page. Mention was made of him in this thread on Tuesday. I'm rooting for HV III, but Phil is playing well, and he loves this course. He won here three or four years ago, IIRC.
