Well y'all, they have finally arrived.  The custom assembly is immaculate, even down to the tape specifications to get less taper on my grips.  When I get them paint filled I will go ahead and grab pictures of all of them, unless you all want to see them now lol.

 

God the TS4 might be the prettiest iron in golf.

My short game is the reason my handicap is as high as it is lol.  Ill get used to that 54 DRT-A DBM soon enough.

 

The ts4s will end up with the same fill as my 54 DRT.

I like the drt for full shots, I'm keeping the 54 DRT but I went back to my Ping i59 58* I was blading wedges last 3 rounds with the 58* DRT. i59 just works great for me.

I am waiting for the S grind for my 58 to finish up the bag.  I think the shallow grind will help my blade problem, but we will see in the long run lol.

Just getting used to my Max Milled.  Especially out of the sand with the 58 1.05.  Don't really want to mess with what works right now.

If you don't mind me asking, how the hell did you get the paint off the TS4s?  The DRT was childs play compared to the TS4.  I took an hour and didn't get all the paint removed from just the 5 iron with 100% acetone and toothpicks. @Ger21

Scraped it out with a small screwdriver (eyeglass repair size). Quite tedious.

Here's a little tip I used on my Piretti putter, which also had difficult to remove paintfill.
Wrap aluminum foil around it, and fill it with acetone, and let it soak for 10-30 minutes. With enough time, acetone should break it down. You don't need a lot of acetone if you wrap it tightly.

I was impatient, so didn't try this with the TS4's.

it was a massive PITA for me as well. lots of toothpicks, about a bottle of acetone and like 2 hrs

I painted the bottom groove on mine, to help with alignment. Sometimes it's hard to see the grooves.

I saw your post on Reddit lol.  I was planning on doing the same as well. Your post inspired me.

 

Clubheads are sitting in aluminum foil with a cotton ball soaked in acetone directly over the number on the inside.  We will see how it works.

You don't need (or want?) a cottonball. Just needs to be in constant contact with a puddle of acetone at all times.

Been a while since I posted here. I put this in another forum as well. I can’t believe how forgiving these TS3 heads are, truly shocking. 
 

I lost some distance playing the TS1-IM in a PX 6.0. Couldn’t pin a reason down.  This build gave it back and then some. 7-GW in TS3 DBM with an Aldila NV 95S shaft. Designer ferrules and a Lamkin Crossline plus grip complete the black on black theme. I’m going to paint fill some DRT wedges paired with a Dynamic Gold 105 S Black Onyx wedge shafts as well. I’ll throw them up when I complete the build later today.

Didn't want to use the straight acetone in the foil, so I used the cottonball to make sure it would remain in constant contact.  We will see how it works. Still willing to take an exacto to it afterwards.

Imo, the cotton ball will prevent constant contact.

A little late to the party, but finally got my hands on a TS4 7 iron for testing. Such good value for the money. 

As a fitter, I was surprised at how low launching these were (for me) considering cg and loft. Still spun plenty but definitely a lower flight window than I was expecting. 
 

Also a pretty firm, but still super satisfying feel. Will most likely order up the rest of the set to mess around with when the gamers (Cobra King Tour’s) need a rest.

Try a TE+ or TS3 for a higher flight.... and/or to combo with the TS4

After some testing, the TE+ 4-6 do play a bit softer than the TS4. I’ll take more feedback with the shorter vs longer clubs. Skulling a blade 4 iron can really sting! Regardless, both sets feel great.

Finished the DRT-A wedge build this afternoon. Stuck with the black theme but went with a touch of gold to match the True Temper Dynamic Gold S300 Black Onyx shafts.

DBM is baked into the metal compound itself, so I was not concerned.  The worst thing that happened was on my DRT, the white from the paint rubbed off a bit on the part around what I was clearing.  That was just user error from me doing it for the first time.  The irons have no discoloring to speak of once I got used to it.

You guys are terrible. I didn't even need new irons. 

 

Now I have a set of dbm ts3 heads that have just arrived.

 

And a new wedge.

 

And now I have to remove the paint and go a custom colour.

 

Even without that they are some of the best looking irons i have ever seen. Photos don't do them justice...

Me too.  Yeah, this is really interesting, and I never thought about the eye dominance aspect.  I tend to set my TS2’s a hair closed, but I can see square much better with say Eye2’s.  Hmmmmm.

I read about it a few months ago and it all started to make since as to why I can’t play irons with much offset.
