Looks like we had the same idea! I combo’d with te+ v4 5-7, ts4 8-AW. Went mmt 105 and my favorite Tacki Mac grips.

White paint is gone from my DRT, as well as the badge. Black paint fill going in to loft/lie after tomorrows round.

Just finished building these. All I can say is wow! These feel like absolute butter. Love the look at address. My worry about being able to hit these is long gone. So easy. Very forgiving. 5-7 te+, 8-aw ts4. MMT 105s.

Been waffling on whether to go TE+ in the 4&5, or all TS4. Was leaning all TS4, but after seeing yours, I'll likely go back to TE+ in the 4&5.

I’m just a lowly 8 cap who hates offset and thick top lines.

the look at address is seamless.

I was scared to go ts4 in the 6 and 7, but after hitting these, I could have definitely gone ts4 in the 7 and likely the 6. The te+ ARE easier to hit by a small margin but the ts4 are not tiny and scary like I initially thought.

I’m happy i went te+ though.

I am a fan after today!    FIrst three chips with 54-- VERY good.   Tap in par.    58 from greenside bunker-- tap in.    78 Yds- Uphill to a very elevated green-- 54 degree to 4 feet....

I am looking forward to another round on Sunday.  SHot 36-46 for 82 today!!   Putting and a few wayward drives on the back nine KILLED a great round.

I put them in mine as well last night. Happy I did. Feel really good.

Taking my TS4 7 iron out in a few hours. Definitely not small. A little longer than my 2015 OnOffs, but also a touch shorter blade height.

Started the year with 5-PW Bridgestone 220MB's, but they are a little too small for my 61 yo swing. No issues hitting MB 4 iron off the tee, but tend to hit a little thin, and slightly toe side from the fairway.

TE+ looks a lot closer to the TS4 at address than I thought. I'll save a few $$, and get a little more forgiveness. Win-win.

What the plan where the badge was?

In the pic, it's filled with Testors Graphite Grey Metallic. I thought about some bright colored fill, but went the more subtle route. The back is perfectly flat around the badge, so you can slice off any excess paint with a new utility knife blade, in one swipe. I just laid it face down on the table, with the hosel hanging over the edge, and just put a few drops in, and swirled it around with a toothpick.

Ha. For me it’s just been irons. I’ve had the same driver (well I just moved to the 10k, but I had the 430 for 2 years, 425 before that, and the same shaft in all of them) same woods and hybrids in that time span.

I just haven’t felt comfortable with my irons for whatever reason.

So far so good. At address you would be hard pressed to tell any difference at all. Very seamless.  I maybe get a tiny bit of extra distance from the te+ 7 than I would the ts4 7,  but I could use the extra distance on mishits.

initially I was worried about the ts4 7, but I could make the switch and be happy as well. I definitely appreciate the 5 and 6 being the+.

How do theses compare performance wise?  Have played I200, I210, and I230 in the past but always end up moving to something else.  Recently had a TS4 7 iron for testing but it had a shaft that doesn’t work for me so I moved it along without giving it a real chance.

I played the i210 and i230. I actually prefer the i210 as I still have those and I sold the i230’s. Loft for loft they’re exactly the same. They look very similar but the ts4 has a thinner top line and a smidge less offset. Something I was after. The ts4 actually seem easier to hit for me. I’m a picker/sweeper and maybe the ts4 just work better for me.

This is all based on my very early limited testing. I’ve played a few rounds of sim golf with them but the early results are very promising. I’m playing a couple times outside next week so real world testing is coming.

I will add that the te+ in the 5-7 are definitely easier to hit and hit well than the ping i210 and really any “players” club that over ever hit before. It’s a phenomenal design.

time to thin the horde. Selling off 4 sets of clubs here this week.

Seriously, how good does the dbm finish look on the te+ ts3 and ts4!

The only problem is choice:

Full set ts3?

Ts3 / ts4 combo

Te+ / ts4 combo

My brain is hurting and smoke is coming out...

Coming from ts2, I think I will get a full set of ts3 and top end ts4 so I can test and split if/where I need to

I would get a test club of each if I were you. What you think you want might not be what you end up getting. I have a full set of TS three‘s and for whatever reason I could not hit them well at all. I tried three different shafts on them and now they’re just sitting. As recently as three weeks ago, I re shafted them and tried them out again and they just felt dead to me. The TS four and TE plus just seem to work better with my swing, for whatever reason.

But yes, the DBM finish looks even better in person than it does online

I agree with you that the TS4 in hand are larger in size/longer in blade length that I thought they would be.

Yea, real world often doesn't work out the way you think it will...

Have you hit the ts2? Any thoughts on how these compare? I like the ts2 but just looking for a touch more spin amd consistent distance. We'll those are the reasons I'm using to justify buying new irons,I really just want the dbm finish and something pretty close to the ts2...

I played the ts2 for 3 years. Really nice club. I played them when I was just coming back to serious golf after a semi layoff from moving states 3x and moving houses 6x in a 5 year period.

for you I’d suggest the ts3. They come in dbm as well.

I have Ping G425 irons and I'm looking for some more forgiving super game improvement iron heads due to age.  My son has KE4 Max which I took to the range and I don't like the shape of the head.  It bothers me at address and I don't feel confident with them.  I find the heel/hosel area is too small.  Maybe its what they needed to do to make it ultra game improvement.  Not sure I described that well.   Hopefully it makes sense to others.  I had a look at the catalog but I am not sure if there is some measurement that will tell me what heads will be better for me.  And its hard to tell from the pictures.

Maybe its because I'm used to the 425s and with time I would get used to the KE4 Max.  But maybe there is a head that I'll like better right away.

What current heads with a higher MPF super game improvement rating don't have this kind of shape?
