What seems likely to me is that they have run low on single clubheads, but have enough for the full sets represented by the club paks.

Looks like it was just an issue with the website, and it's back to normal now.

For all the DRT Wedge users:

Is there enough relief in the A grind to open up the face for flops?  I have the Max Milled 1.05 and don't get very confident opening them up in specialty situations.  I have a TSW DRM 56* if I really need to lay it open flat.

You could. It's not nearly as wide of a sole as the Max Milled. So laying it open doesn't elevate the leading edge as much.

I finally put together a short set of TS2 irons, finding singles here and there, so I could build up a 5, 6, 8, 9 setup, adjusting lofts to have 6* between clubs.  Makes a nice short game setup for my normal home course.  I really like how they feel and perform.  In terms of buying brand new, they are a bargain up against the big OEMS.  But on the used market, it is crazy how well they hold their value, and are often more expensive than some of the OEM irons.  I think I have as much in this four-club set as I do having put together a four-club set of P790, P770, P7MC, and P7MB 6, 7, 7, 9 setup I just built.  Some of that was down to being able to use cheap 7i demo heads for the TM clubs, but it is interesting how well the DTC brands hold value.

I also just picked up a 5i and 6i head in the TS1, so I'm still on the hunt for a 7, 8 or 9 iron heads.  Or maybe I'll just build them to the same lofts as the TS2 5 and 6, and have a combo set of TS1/2 heads.

To be honest, If you're solely going on looks and never played a muscle back, I would suggest getting a 7 or 8 iron and play it for a couple rounds.  I know single digit handicappers that hate MB's and mid to upper-mid handicappers that love MB's.  All depends on you and your swing and ball striking.

For me it was the lofts, my old TM Tour Burners have a 46* PW and I consistently hit that 145.  I did not want to bend stronger lofted irons to get to that point, so I just went with the TS4.  I am not hurting for distance and I wanted to keep my #s as close as possible to what they currently are.

Sounds like you have the swing speed and ball contact that you can get allot out of the MB's.  My PW is 42* and I'm lucky to get 115 on a full swing.  Maybe eek out to 120 if I hit it pure.

It appears we’ll be able to experiment with ‘zero torque’ Maltby putters soon.
I could not find the left handed hosels mentioned in the note but the pics on the site likely indicate they exist (they seem to have a sku# as well).

Pair these lefty hosels with the upcoming Max Moment putter head and I think I’ll be trying my hand at a ‘evnroll zero’ type build. Was mentioned on the maltby forum the new putter will have a lot of weighting options.  Very exciting. IMG_1146.png.906cd4593b46a5b99c056bd167040cc1.png

Former Baseball player with extremely good hip and shoulder flexibility and at the age where it hasn't been taken away yet (mid 30s).  My 7i SS is around 93mph.  My 105g regular flex shafts are not doing me any favors currently, if there is any headwind at all I balloon the ball like crazy.

I am hoping these TT DGx100 .370s bring my ballflight down quite a bit.

Don't worry about your yardages, you would smoke me out on the course lol.

LOL.  I'm 58 needing double knee replacements.  My 7i swing speed hovers 78-82 depending upon how much ibuprofen I take.  And probably.  I've really focused on perfecting short game a few years ago since my distance was waning.  dropped my hcp from around a 20 to 14.0 currently.  Last fall played to a 12.

This.  Get one and try it out.

Two sets ago with a set of Taylor made rocketbladez (cav back) I tried a friends forged 7 iron on a par 3 180 yards.  I flushed it (hands didn’t feel anything) so well that it flew 15 yards over the green.

A week or two later, bought my first forged set of MP32’s and the rest is history. 9 years later, I discovered the TS4’s last year.    Not looking for new irons aaaanytime soon.  Love these things.  Address, feel, forgiveness, turf interaction, did I mention they are beautiful?

Caveat - blades can give you stingers, but the feedback makes you/helps you hone in on your swing.  It makes you stay more balanced. Focused. Which has made me a better hacker.     My experience with the TS4’s is that they are forgiving for the style of iron and have made me a better player.

I can hit a low bladed 180 yard shot that will darn near go the distance it was supposed to and it doesn’t feel like a stinger.   Get one, try it out.

I am hoping the new DRT will be more beneficial to me in that aspect than the TSW.  I am pretty awful from 80 yds in.  Always decelerate on the swing when I am trying to take something off.  Hoping the heavier shafts help with that as well.

drt are definitely more useable form all lies. Played a couple rounds with them so far. I really like them. I was leaving everything short all day because I had so much spin on them. Gotta adjust.

I've been there, it's a lot of fun trying to learn this game coming from baseball.  LOL

One thing that helped me was going heavier and stiffer shafts.  I went to 6.5 and DGX relatively quickly in irons, and in woods, the first driver I could hit worth a damn had a 100g+ shaft at 44.5", when everything on the market is over 45".   Cut that down to 44" and added a bit of lead tape.

That's what worked for me, but we're all different.  My real suggestion is to not be afraid to go heavier in your driver and woods.  Something like the NV85 in X and nothing longer than 44" might help your driver game.  Emphasis on "might"  😉

Had the stock Hzrdus Smoke IM10 60S in my cobra LTDxMax, went and purchased a 70g Hzrdus Black G4 70g 6.5 at 44.5 to try out and I am doing better with it.  My miss has gone from a slice to a duck hook though, so I really want to get a standard head vs the Max.  If I bought anything new (after the ts4 5-GW, DRT 54*, and the IST 3H to slot between my 4w and 7w) my fiancée may literally kill me.

I only played 2 rounds with mine (have a DBM set coming in) but I had no problem with the 58 but this is assuming you have teeny bit of cushion.  Here in MD on Bermuda fairways that only recently started to green I hit several shots with the face pretty open.

I don't think there's enough grind for tight or bare lies.

A longer "C-dimension" or horizontal COG can also help with that.  If the C-d of the TS4 is longer that what you've been playing

1.301 on my '08 tour burners vs 1.471 on the TS4 DBM.  VCOG shifting down 0.15 as well vs the tour burner (0.826 vs 0.771).  Overall these seem like they will look better and be easier for me to play.

It's funny how that optical illusion works.  I looked at "from above" images of both on the Golfworks site, and the TS3 *does* look smaller.  As you said, it's probably the topline.  However, the specs show they have an identical blade length.

Fun

All else close to equal, a wider top-line will almost always create the illusion of a 'shorter' or not as long of a blade length.  Vice versa for a thin top-line.

The TS3 also has shorter grooves than some of the others, which further contributes to the illusion of not as long of a blade

They're killing me with all this white paintfill I need to remove. 😁Maybe some consistency at least? "Forged" is white on the TE+, and black on the TS4??

Weight increments are very consistent, but all are about 2g heavier than specs. Not sure why the GW is the same weight as the PW. I would have liked to have seen it maybe 5g heavier? Might have to throw a tip weight in the GW, if I have one that will fit the Dart V.

Off to the shop, so I can play these Saturday.

I had the DBM Forged before the TS3.  Black looks okay in hand, but over the ball, I prefer the satin chrome look.
