My first statement was literally, "but look .... they're so pretty"

it'll work sooner or later.

I'm thinking TS3/TS4 dbm combo set with KBS PGI 90's and Black/Dark Red MCC +4's and there's currently a sick bbandf co red/white/black roulette set for ferrules.

I finally understand the need for shoes....well golf shoes any way.  I'm not in my wife's league, but I have too many although I do retire some of them to yardwork wear.

My wife in the garage the other day:  "When did you get so many golf shoes?  Any why?"  Unfortunately I married a woman who likes "cute" cheap shoes, so a pile of Eccos aren't exactly relatable for her.  Luckily I was selected as a tester for the new Squairz, so I made sure to tell her those are free because I get to review them!

Hey guys, not entirely sure this is the right place but it's a ts3 so huzzah.

Just pulled this project x flighted out of an old set of bridgestones I had. Do I need to remove and reglue this tip weight? does the shaft look fully seated without messing with it? I only ask because this is a .355 shaft and with the universal hozzle I was wondering if their would be a fit issue at the bottom of th hosel

My .02-- after dealing with many of those in drivers before adjustable shaft adaptors-- leave it as is- the residual epoxy from your install should be more than enough..

I would be interested to tap it down gently to see if it is not completely seated...  Sometimes when pullilng the epoxy comes loose enough for the tip weight to be partially "out".

If this is a single test club, you can either leave it or pull it.
If it's a set, then you'd at least want the same tip weight in every iron.

It will likely reduce insertion depth by the thickness of the flange, ~1/16".
I have a similar weight in my TS4 GW, but none of the others.

12 pairs? This woman has some incredible self-control. I think I have more than that, and my wife has... idk 30 pairs? Maybe 40? You should give your wife some more shoes!

Personally, I would remove it and clean out the shaft tip to reglue. For starters, why was there a tip weight to begin with? Is the shaft shorter than standard? Or were the heads on the Bridgestones any lighter? You might just like a heavier SW so scratch the previous questions if that's the case. I'd check SW without the weight and then go from there.

Either way, for me and my OCD, I want to feel like the build is 100% in my hands and not leave any questions to another builder, broken down epoxy, etc. the tip of the weight should fit snugly in the .355 bore when done.

I've bought a few heads over time, but honestly you can get last years fairways from a major oem for about what it'd cost to get the Maltby head plus a good shaft.  So I tend to just buy mint condition older season woods from globalgolf or proclubs.

I decided to get a maltby hybrid because it was easy since I ordered my DRT with it, but look at callaway preowned here as well.  I got my 4w and 7w for like $200 combined in Very Good condition and it looked like they had both been hit twice.  Epic Speed and a Rogue XT Max D for that price was wild.

Faster Swing Speed = Wider Dispersion.  Just trying to get better at golf.

Driver - 9 deg Cobra LTDx Max (Hzrdus Black G4 70g 6.5)

4w - Callaway Epic Speed (Hzrdus Smoke im70 6.0)

3h - Maltby IST (Maltby Pro Series + X-flex)

7w - Callaway Rogue ST Max D (Mitsubishi Tensei Blue Stiff)

5i-GW - Maltby TS4 DBM (TT DG x100 .370)

54*- Maltby DRT-A DBM (TT DG S400 .370)

58* - Maltby DRT-S DBM (when they release)

Not a 'Wood' but my TC Pro IST Hybrid was ordered on a whim...and I freaking love it! Was like $110 with assembly and shipping. The Maltby Pro Series shafts save money, and are just as good as any of the 'big' names, especially for a mid handicapper like myself.

So all that being said look at the TC Pro IST Fw's they have the adjustable or the fixed.
