Wife and I are looking at hopefully relocting to the Boise area in the next 12 months. How many members do we have in the Treasure Valley?

At least one.. I'm around once a week or so unless I'm looking for specific information. As you saw, I tried to get an area course thread http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/1650876-boise-area-courses/ going but it didnt take well..

Boise local here too, let's go play. I met my current golf buddy on WRX about 5 years ago the same way you are reaching out. We have some great courses here in my opinion.

Thanks - Still stuck in Socal for now. My line of work only has a small footprint in the Boise area so it might take a while before the move. Really love the area. Drove by a few courses that looked pleasant. Eagle Hills was one of a few I remember checking out.

It's ok.

Falcon Crest, Shadow Valley, Banbury, and Quail Hollow are our gems in my opinion. There are more I'm sure but those are the ones most seem to mention.

If there's no snow and some sunshine, I'm out there. Anyone in the area can PM me if you want to connect. We moved out here from Trabuco Canyon.

Really want to keep hearing how the winter is. Did a lot of research and it seems like maybe December and January it might be a tough golf stretch compared to Socal but otherwise very nice.

Its been pretty cold, I have hit the range a few times at best. Played indoor simulator golf a few times. Probably be a few more weeks until its consistently decent enough to get out and play.

That is exactly where I go for indoor, owners are fantastic.

Would you believe that we have been here 5 years and I havent played Banburry? I practice there a lot since its close to work (hour lunch) but have yet to play there.

Absolutely. I hit balls at Pierce Park usually once a week when its warm.
