Recently took a trip to Yellowstone with my girlfriend and her family.

 

Her brother and I were very honored and lucky to be invited to play at Snake River Sporting Club and I am here to say that that golf course is simply amazing. I enjoyed every single hole, the greens were running around 13-14 and perfect. Fairways perfectly plush and the rough was just the right amount of thick and penal without being completely insane. The views and weather were just outstanding.

 

We also played Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis and that course was also very awesome with stunning views of the Teton and Grand Teton Mountain.

 

I want to go back to the area and try to play 3 Creek and Shooting Star!

I haven't played Shooting Star yet, but have played 3 Creek Ranch several times and it's fantastic. Hard to beat golf in Jackson when you have good weather and views of the Tetons!

Shooting Star is one of my favorites. Fazio with aiming trees and wildlife to boot. Now that the greens have matured and are more receptive it really is a treat. Also if you get the chance while in town next time is going over to the Idaho side of the Tetons and getting in rounds at both Teton Springs, and Huntsman Springs, which is a David Mclay Kidd, and a great mountain links and the two towns on that side are pretty quiet and filled with good food. One of my favorite places to play golf.
