Adidas Golf - buy direct from Adidas.com

Some advice -

 

Don't buy Adidas Golf shoes from anyone else than direct from Adidas. The warranty is 2 years from date of purchase or 2 years from manufacture whichever is earlier.

 

I have been stung 2x now by authorized retailers online selling shoes that were manufactured a long time ago before they sell them new and the heel cup has worn out and so I cannot return them direct to Adidas as 1) I didn't buy them direct, 2) I don't have a receipt and 3) its outside the 2 years from date of manufacture.

 

Luckily the next two pairs I have to use were bought direct from Adidas.com.

I very much doubt normal wear and tear like that is included within the warranty anyway.

The material in the heel cup wearing through so the plastic is exposed in less than one year isn't normal wear and tear. This has happened on every pair of 360 boost I have owned. It maybe time to switch to another brand.

I have had no problem getting warranty honored thru my club, no matter of date of purchased. Just returned a pair this week.

Really? I haven't had this problem and my shoes are over a year old. They still almost look new inside.

The original 360 Boosts were notorious for their heel wear. I had one pair which lasted two rounds! The 2.0 are far better, having switched textile for leather. They’re now bulletproof, as long as you put them on and take them off properly.

Just noticed this on my Boosts. Contacted adidas customer service by phone and filled out the email form. I'll post back with resolution.

Interesting, I just bought a new pair of shoes because plastic started sticking out from the heel of my Adidas Boost shoes. I would have never imagined that this was a common issue or that it would be covered under warranty. The shoes are a year old, so I'm definitely interested to hear your resolution!

Very interesting. Is this for shoe only or applies to all Adidas golf items?

I've returned a pants that was manuf over 2 years ago but purchased from online vendor 12 months ago. They gave me credit for the pants after sending in the invoice.

I mean if you’ve worn a pair of shoes for two years and they start to break down are the manufacturers really responsible at that point? I would think maybe 6 months but after that you’re on your own. I coach high school football and refuse to use adidas anymore. Their Adizero cleats are very nice but the sole comes off after a few weeks of practice and they will not honor them. Has happened to several pairs we have. And then the adidas uniforms are the worst. Have had to replace several after the first year. Never had that problem with any other manufacturers. So it surprises me they warranty golf shoes for two years.

The adizero golf shoes had the same issue. I was able to get a replacement but those things were trash.

Many models have had the same issues. It really doesn't matter where you got the shoes, you are bound by the 2 year from manufacturing date which is printed on the shoe. The 2 year warranty was really only suppose to be waterproofing, not so much on wearing and tearing.

The original Tour 360's had the same issue. I vaguely remember a thread or two about it back in the day. I had two pair that I returned before giving up on Adidas shoes all together.

I have 4 pairs of Adidas golf shoes with this problem....actually worse.

I've put hundreds of miles on New Balance running shoes without this kind of failure.

Apparently I wound up in the Dead Letter Department. Not surprised. Not surprised that my other shoe is showing identical wear either.

Glutton for punishment. Couldn't resist their [clearance sale](https://www.adidas.com/us/men-golf-sale "clearance sale") with 20% more off (since expired) for a pair of Adipower S Boost 3 for $52 plus shipping. Said it was the last pair in my size but who knows.
